I was considering that. After seeing the great results other members have had. I want a black pair as well.

You're going the full Gos. Gosling has every color it seems. There are photos of him in grey, white, and black. Totally pimping the Stacy's.

Out of curiosity, has anyone here thought of perhaps putting together a petition everyone can sign and send over to Stacy Adams corporate to re-introduce the Taupe Madison boot? A suggestion of maybe even a 'special order' on the Taupe color if they don't feel like it's financially worth bringing them back all-together? Mine are just beaten to death and would love to get another pair, as I'm sure many here would love to even get one or more pairs finally. I just don't understand why they would discontinue a color due to "unpopularity" and lack of sales (this was Stacy Adams response to why the Taupe is no longer offered btw) when they still offer it in the shoe version and I can't see why the boot version doesn't sell just as well. Especially when the boot was worn in a film buy an A-list star who's fashion inspires a lot of folks, and demand for the Taupe color is extremely high since DRIVE? I mean Selima Optique still can't keep the Auburn Money 2 sunglasses in stock more than a week, even a year and half after DRIVE!! If we can make Stacy Adams see the financial potential of bringing the Taupe color back on the boot version, even as a special order item is worth their attention. Anyone with me?

I just pulled the trigger on the Ebay jacket from a few pages back (the one with the scorpio rising tail.) I'll post some more extensive pictures when I get it. It seems like it could be an awesome option for the lower budget/more impatient crowd.
