I am returning it. Not exchanging it. Between not being able to get my arm basically through the arm hole and the overall quality I have seen enough. It would not last long at all if worn. It is extremely flimsy.
The large size was not an issue for me. I was just letting people know that the size was A LOT smaller then the size chart led people to believe. If you got a size smaller or even the size you usually wear you are in for an exchange I feel(or some quickly busted seams).

wow. Now you got me thinking about actually canceling my order with getgo retro. Damn, this jacket may not last long and the whole quality issues.
No wonder they didn't want to post hi res pictures. I'm wondering if someone else can post their pics of that jacket.

Yeah I know, but I'm sure when they described it as his "armor" they didn't mean the thickness of the jacket. What Lars is described could be exactly what the screen used jacket feels like.

well, Ive seen enough. I sent steady an email demanding a cancellation and full refund. Nothing personal against the company itself but the quality and overall craftsmenship just is not there for a nearly $200 purchase. I will find a better, more accurate replica down the road. I havent recieved any shipping notice so I am hoping they just refund my entire payment but we will just see how it goes. Oh well..as long as I get my money back, im not that upset. Always go with who made the originals folks...thats all I gotta say...

Unfortunately that is almost NEVER possible. Just always wait and do research first. In this case, wait for the first people to get theirs.

Edit: that reminds me that even with the Matrix sunglasses, Blinde (the company that allegedly designed all of the sunglasses for the movies), released extremely inaccurate replicas. So, original companies are not always best.

Hmm after seeing those pictures, I'm seriously considering cancelling my order. The quilting on the front of the jacket just looks so bad that it doesn't even match up with the picture of the screenused jacket they posted. Other than that, for the price the jacket is ok. Might save up for Magnoli's jacket once I see pictures of it.

really feeling like some of you guys made equivalent jackets yourselves for halloween, and for much less.

i can't figure out how lars can't get his sleeve on. that sounds crazy. how badly they bit the bullet on that one...

i'm pretty disappointed. but i understand what benhs is saying; this was bound to happen. now i'm just curious as to know how mine will fit, what Steady's return policy is and how Indy's jackets will come out in coming weeks.

I actually feel sorry for them. I am sure there are plenty Joes out there who ordered jackets and don't give a whoop, but there are quite a few people on here who will be sending unhappy emails. Still, such a shame. That licensed tag is so funny in the way you wouldn't expect licensed merchandise for this kind of film.

I've been following this thread for a few months now. I ordered about 6 weeks ago from gogetretro. I'm very disappointed that the jackets have turned out the way they have. They have obviously lied about their product which is pathetic. Surely they must have known that people woulnd't put up with a half arsed effort? I have been genuinely excited about this jacket for 2 months, ive visisited this thread everyday. I'm going to cancel my order before they post it. So annoying!
