DRIVE (2011) Scorpion Satin Jacket

I ordered the jacket with the intention of wearing it mostly on Halloween parties and cosplay events. I don't see myself wearing it on a daily basis to be honest.

I also agree with that one poster on everybody getting worried because of one customer and his bad experience with the defective jacket. Just calm down guys. If your jacket is as messed up as his, then return it and get Indy's jacket if you still want it.

People are also dissatisfied with the poor quality of construction and inaccuracy.

On Steady Clothing's Facebook wall someone expressed their dissatisfaction with the jacket a couple of days ago, and someone else commented with the link to this forum (with the user photos), and it's not there anymore....:unsure

Yeah, I was posting some negativity, then someone else corroborated that. Then steady deleted it to further mislead people.

It shows that they want to sell as any jackets as possible by deleting any negative review/opinion about the jackets. Very dirty tactic from Steady Clothing. I will be definitely returning this jacket. Cathy seem to be cool and honest about that whole thing. She says those jackets are not that bad at all. I feel I can trust her instead of Steady.

I think it's better off the link got deleted. I don't think Steady would be too happy to find out someone else would be offering these jackets considering they hold the license for it. What customers should do though if they are unhappy is just post pictures of the jacket on Steady's wall describing whats wrong rather than linking here.

After seeing those pictures, and trying to get solid answers through Steady, I've put a cancellation request in for my order with GetGoRetro. She's done everything possible to try and make us all have an easy transaction so I made sure to tell her that she nor her company were at fault.

I'm probably just gonna wait out for Magnoli's jackets after this mess from Steady.

I feel bad for GetGoRetro getting kind of stuck in the middle of this mess. Steady has been pretty ugly about the situation too.

Some of you were right to be paranoid!

I was paranoid since I saw first pics from Steady. I noticed that the stitches don't go on top of scorpion. Then when I ask them about it I got respond that the jackets will be exactly the same as the one from the movie - I still have that email from them.

GetGoRetro is pretty cool and they seem to be pretty honest, I also feel sorry they will have to deal with a lot of returns.

I wanted to see some personal reviews before buying into the third run but now it looks like I will only do it if they have a really, really good deal.

Looking forward to it.

I got the jacket this morning. It doesn't look that bad
from the distance. Its light and very comfortable.
When I looked at it, I thought it would be
Way too small but it fits me very well, sort
of tight but it actually looks pretty good. They
should fit tight.

But when I looked close I noticed poor
quality of the jacket. I also think this
jacket wont last long if it was worn often.
Brown fabric (cuffs) looks really bad...
I will take pics when I get home in 2 hours.

i just got mine about ten minutes ago, and im in the same boat. i was freaking about the sizing chart and emailed steady for a size change from a LARGE TO A MEDIUM, well thank god they DIDNT get my email in time. I feel a little bad now looking at the money i spent on it. The jacket fits a bit snug, im a medium in t shirts, and a Large in jackets..(I measured my size Large Levis Jean jacket for the sizing chart.) im a little discouraged, and dont know if i want to deal with the nightmare of exchanging it for an XL. dont wana wait another 3 months

If you guys can, try and take pictures of you wearing it so others can get an idea how the fit of the jacket is compared to your sizes.

here are the photos of me wearing L - yes it fit tight but this is the way it should fit instead of wearing it a bit loose.
