DRIVE (2011) Scorpion Satin Jacket

I feel totally betrayed. When I orderd the jacket, they promised a shipping date around the 15th of Nov. So they are two weeks late. Due to I live in Germany, the shipping time will be around 3-4 weeks so that I will receive the jacket in Jan/Feb. Thats fu**ed up! I already payed it 10 weeks ago!

You don't know if they haven't shipped any jackets yet. For all we know people who don't post here/Steadys Facebook page could have gotten them already. And the user here had an EXPECTED shipping date, doesn't mean it had to come today.

Do you really think they'd bother telling people they're shipping this week and next, only for them to actually start shipping near Christmas, or in 2012? I highly doubt they would expect to be able to keep lying to us for a month without pissing everyone off. Of course a month from now you could prove me wrong.

That said, I'm a little annoyed myself. It'd be nice to finally see the jacket, and if it actually fits/looks good on me.

They mislead us a couple of time already that's why I feel like this time they are mislead us too. Even getgo retro didn't get their jackets yet. They just didn't sent them to getgo retro. I would think they would get them first.

They uploaded pic of screen used jacket and signed (Steady Clothing) that pic on the bottom right corner like it was their jacket. Then they said the jackets will be exactly the same but then we found out that the stitching is under the scorpion and not above.
They don't seem to be honest so far.

It's really common for license holders to use photos of screen used items in promotion. Noble Collection is NOTORIOUS with the photoshop.

Again, 500 jackets from a relatively small company, there will be a little delay.

They're not "lying" to you, don't take it so personally. Again, you all had ample warning that licensed does not always mean perfect. You could have held on to your money and saved up for a Magnoli replica.

People need to chill. There is a lot of waiting in this hobby, even from BIG companies. Find the joy in something else for now. No offense, it just looks like some of you joined to talk about the jacket and will probably be outta here once you get yours.

Got my jacket yesterday afternoon(a Large). The major problem is I can't put one arm fully through the jacket. The lining is twisted about twice internally and then stitched to the wrist(internally) making it impossible to wear or even try on without twisting the outer sleeve twice to even get your wrist through. I know that is confusing but I have never seen anything like it in my life! I will post some pictures here in about an hour of the jacket.
The size of the large is very snug on me. I am 6'1 about 185 with wide shoulders. A medium would have been way too short in the arms. I am 100% confident that their sizing chart was WAY off.

That is exactly what happened with a jacket I got once! The lady at Target said, "no, it can't be" until she tried to put HER hand through it.

you should probably return it.

WOW.. that's a major fu*k up. I was afraid there will be something wrong with those jackets. I also ordered L and I'm also 6'1 around 180lb or so and yeah it seems that the sizing chart was way off. I remember people who are 5'11 and 6" ordering size S.. It looks like a lot of people will be returning or exchanging them based on sizing errors or major fu*k ups like problem with lining.

Well, you can't just go by your height and weight, did you take measurements like they TOLD YOU to?

Here you go guys. Sorry about the delay. If you need anymore pics let me know and I'll try my best(and yes, it is going back).

Well, I see many filaments haning out. However I'd love to see some pics while you're wearing the jacket!

Thanks!

Thanks for posting this. I see the ribbed knit pattern is different from the original. Would you be able to post a picture of you wearing it? I would like to get an idea how the fit is.

I can't get my right arm through the sleeve of the jacket unless I twist the sleeve at least 180 degrees or more. So worn shots are near impossible right now.

I don't think the original jacket even have a snap on collar button. If you look at the screen used pictures and the movie, the front and backing of the collar there are no snap on button visible. Don't mean to nitpick but they did say it would be just like the original when its not. Overall though I do think it does look pretty good for a licensed product. Too bad we can't get a picture of you wearing it but thanks for posting these it helps a lot.

REALLY on the fence about this. That quilting is just completely inaccurate. Kind of a lazy job on their part.
