The brown trim is inaccurate and should have a ribbed texture. There are ugly little filaments hanging out everywhere due to shoddy production. They added a snap button on the collar where their pictures of the original does not feature a snap button and the scorpion embroidery (though we knew this the whole time) is way too clean looking.
Edit: @nickytea. Yeah, the price does a lot for it, but for 200 more Magnoli is making something more accurate and more durable. Magnoli's will last a lifetime compared to the Steady jacket.

**** I dont know guys, that looks fookin rad! Cant wait to see mine when it arrives. I just jope it fits, even though Im definately not going to be wearing it anywhere... much!

So I called steady today to find out about my jacket. I was not happy with
What they told me but theres not much I can do. Let's just say when I first ordered the.jacket I got a.medium then when I called in during that time I switched my order to a
Large because they said all other sizes would be too small. well someone didn't get the.memo that I changed sizes and so.my large jacket didn't get shipped out. Luckily they have five size.large jackets laying around. So.they'll ship it on Monday. Which I will be calling to make sure they actually ship it on that day. Anyway as far as everyone else's sizes they said they shipped out all the larger sizes like 2xl,xl,l. Medium,small, and xs will be next to be shipped out. Hope this helps and if you have any concerns you better call. I also just wanna point out the fact that I brought up the size issue a ways back and if it doesn't fit sorry hate to say I told you so.

I'm 6'1 around 180lb wide shoulders do you think L will be too small for me?
I don't know if you guys noticed but diamond pattern is completely messed up - diamonds are not lining up like they should, they look way off. Scorpion looks good to me but the brown fabric looks ridiculous and it's not even close to the screen used jacker brown trim with ribbed texture.

That's an...interesting take on it.
I always thought the jacket was supposed to be pretty thin anyways. Though I'd prefer if it wasn't so light weight, but we'll see.
That's how Refn and the costume designer described it. Definitely appropriate as they also wanted Driver to represent the superhero archetype.

well, I also think it should be rather light weight since action of the movie takes place in LA and it looks kind of light in the movie.
It's a driver jacket and driving car while wearing heavy jacket isn't comfortable.
During the winter I always take off my coat while I drive.
It look like they used accurate fabric but those diamonds bother me. They are not lining up.
I am returning it. Not exchanging it. Between not being able to get my arm basically through the arm hole and the overall quality I have seen enough. It would not last long at all if worn. It is extremely flimsy.
The large size was not an issue for me. I was just letting people know that the size was A LOT smaller then the size chart led people to believe. If you got a size smaller or even the size you usually wear you are in for an exchange I feel(or some quickly busted seams).

Yeah I know, but I'm sure when they described it as his "armor" they didn't mean the thickness of the jacket. What Lars is describing could be exactly what the screen used jacket feels like.
Edit: Minus the flimsy feel he just described.
