The collar is "popped" in the photo you posted. It's possible to do it with Steadys too.

you mean it's flipped up? because if it were flipped up, wouldn't it show the satin? or do you mean it's pulled down farther than normal?

His has satin on the back of the collar and knit on the front. So, when the collar is down, you see the brown knit and when it is popped you see the satin on the back. The Steady jacket is the same. Next I expect someone to ask if the insides of the pockets are accurate.

There's nothing wrong with wanting or asking for accuracy, after all this is the replica prop forum :cool. Anyway I hope someone gets their jacket soon. I'm curious to see how it looks and fits on someone.

It's not that we don't want accuracy, people just keep asking odd questions. They used the real jacket as reference and promised accuracy. I know that only means so much, but doubting everything does nothing.

Yeah, I think if Steady would post some good pictures of the jacket like they did with the screen used one, full front and back view and someone wearing it, that would give everyone an idea what they are really getting and put some questions to rest. I don't get why they couldn't take one jacket off the rack and have someone pose with it on or just lay it flat and take some good pictures of it. I guess we just have to wait and see.

There is nothing new from getgo retro and no one got their jacket yet. Yes, we have a couple of blurry pics which don't show a lot of details. To be honest with you guys, I don't think steady finished those jackets yet. It may actually take much longer than we think.. maybe even late February 2012!!!!!

Someone on this forum already got their email notification, and while he should have had the jacket by today, why would they bother sending that email anyways? Was their plan to send the email to only a select few to make us believe they were slowly shipping them out?

it's already too cold here to wear just this outside, but that's okay. I'll still wear it around under my coat, and maybe even inside if I feel like being a little risky. Really excited to finally get this.

i'm going to have to agree with you here. how many of us on here actually got that confirmation email? one or two? and how many jackets were in the first run? i ordered almost immediately after the first run released and it's been well over a week now and i haven't gotten any emails at all.

i'm not trying to whine here. it's not about complaining or irrational expectations; i don't mind waiting. it's just a little aggravating when you expect something around a certain time and you're stuck waiting longer than anticipated. ya know? like if they originally stated that the jackets wouldn't be out until march... then, well, fine; march it is. but i figured the shipments were going out on the 15th. and now it's december and i haven't even gotten an email yet.

i wouldn't even mind a little bs ambiguous email along the lines of, "hey, we're planning on shipping out more jackets soon." :rolleyes

Someone on here got a shipping confirmation.

They made 500 of the jackets.

No photos yet probably because it seems hard enough for them to ship out these orders without distractions. It seems like a really tiny company, not a giant retailer, so these delays are natural.

You don't know if they haven't shipped any jackets yet. For all we know people who don't post here/Steadys Facebook page could have gotten them already. And the user here had an EXPECTED shipping date, doesn't mean it had to come today.

Do you really think they'd bother telling people they're shipping this week and next, only for them to actually start shipping near Christmas, or in 2012? I highly doubt they would expect to be able to keep lying to us for a month without pissing everyone off. Of course a month from now you could prove me wrong.

That said, I'm a little annoyed myself. It'd be nice to finally see the jacket, and if it actually fits/looks good on me.
