DRIVE (2011) Scorpion Satin Jacket

According to their Facebook regarding the first run of jackets:

"We're shipping today, and through next week. We're trying to get through the orders as quickly as possible. Our office/warehouse is closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday."

I ordered through get go retro, so I guess another 3 weeks of waiting...

From the hi res picture above it looks like the cuffs are a bit different from the original. Looks like a solid nylon with no pattern. I think the original was wool with a pattern.

Wow, I am satisfied! The cuffs don't appear to be as "ribbed" as I thought they would, but I don't really care. It looks good, and it'll boost my self-confidence! The only way it'd be cooler is if it came with Carey Mulligan.

Now we play the waiting game....Too bad I ordered on the 3rd run!

They really did a good job matching the satin up because it looks almost exact in terms of "sheen" that can be seen on some of the "pre-blood spatter" pics of Ryan floating around. I hope the cuffs feature the SA stitching as a plain brown cuff would be just kinda lame. I hope to get mine soon as I live ony like 20 mins away from their warehouse...

There is no reason to believe the cuff isn't accurate. People are just worrying for no reason.

If you look at how accurate all of the stitching and everything else is there is no reason they wouldn't use the very common and inexpensive, accurate "ribbed" material.

Well, you never know, there COULD be a reason, we just don't know.
What's there's really no reason for is trying to determine this based on grainy, out-of-focus online images.

They look pretty good. If Steady's site says the cuffs are ribbed I'll take their word for it (screen used pictures aside). I doubt they would list features that aren't there.

But to be honest it wouldn't really bother me if it wasn't anyways.

Wouldn't be able to get your hands out of it if they were any less elastic though. That reminds me of a jacket I bought once that had the sleeve lining sewn in rotated 360 degrees so I couldn't get my hand through it. Sorry for the OT.
