DRIVE (2011) Scorpion Satin Jacket

That's another thing: we don't know if these jackets are worth the price we paid since the company are very dodgy about answering questions and providing photos of their own product. Patience is a virtue, so I will wait it out and see how they look.

From what I've seen, they've answered questions to the best of their ability. It is all of the speculation on here that is really getting to you. For instance, fiddlesticks just asked a question that has already been answered definitely.

I think you all are getting caught up in and taking for granted how much you all get to communicate with Steady. Some companies do not tell you ANYTHING about what is going on. Back in 2003 when I ordered a Master Replicas Neuralyzer, they got delayed twice. All we had was the one official photo and no explanation for why it was delayed.

Steady does their best to communicate with you all it seems and they have provided production photos (not necessarily a common practice).

So, everyone should chill a little. Two months is not very long and if Steady's details seemed questionable to you, Magnoli has been an option all along. Several people have pointed out to you all that the price and "licensed" factors are almost always too good to be true.

Not trying to knock you all but I think you could be a little more zen about this. I know many of you are pretty new here so you are not used to the wait like this.

I understand where you're coming from, and I have admitted in this thread I may have become a bit impatient, but it was just very strange the way this whole jacket thing went down for the past little while. I have no problems with waiting, I'm just curious as to how their pieces came out.

I know I might be "new"-ish here, but I'm no stranger to long waits when it comes to a product.

Yeah. I am pretty curious as well. I would like to get in on the January run but I want to see them and hear about how they fit first.

I'm wondering why they dont want to show finished product.
According to them they had some of jackets finished a month ago
when they wrote me email about sizing. I don't think they
shipped any of those jackets yet. Maybe they are not fully
finished. But I hope we will be satisfy with the way they turned out.

An example of over-thinking. It isn't some conspiracy. They simply don't have to post pictures yet. The finished jackets were probably only prototypes. Also remember, this company is not a prop replica company. They make expensive rehashes of vintage styles and have only been around since 1994.

The final color looks much closer.

Especially since that's before the secondary stitching was added. They mentioned using the same fabric for the jacket as they used for the movie, so considering the lighting, I'd say this will look pretty exact compared to the movie.

From the photo in the email sent out by steady on the 18th I would say that the colour for the scorpion is spot on.

Also another thing that everyone seems to of missed is while I'm not 100% sure but fairly confidant in saying that it was mentioned somewhere that Steady were the company commissioned to make the screen used jackets. So really if you want anyone to make one and do a good job surely it would be them?

I feel like I'm the only one on here that is really excited about getting my jacket, I personally have no doubt that this is going to be a really great jacket. My only concern is that its white, with the material its made of how is the best way to clean it?

Some photo was sent out by steady on the 18th???? Can you upload
That pic???

When it comes to the best way to clean it, I guess
dry cleaning would the best. Washing machine could
damage the fabric and embroidery.

Cool. Looking forward to them posting more, possibly of the inside of the jacket as well.

It isn't, but I'm currently saving up for the hammer. Hopefully I can get enough together to buy it for myself for Christmas.

Damn, that scorpion looks pretty good to me!!! Cant wait to get this jacket. Did you guys get confirmation email about shipment? If not, it means they are not shipping them yet..
