DRIVE (2011) Scorpion Satin Jacket

Hmm I remember backing out of the run for one of those LA caps. Bad decision. Any chance we could get one from you?

EDIT: Never mind. Tight on cash now.

Hat looks good! I went to Selima yesterday... let's just say I bought the Chad frames worn by our pal Ryan in Crazy Stupid Love. Yeah... $430... haha. Last prop I buy for awhile...

I know.. haha. I don't look good with hat's anyway, (I have a replica of the Clippers hat) but the sunglasses look good!
The hat is cheap!

I havn't seen any pictures (although I might have missed them) of anyone with their magnoli drive jackets which is odd. Does anyone have one, scorpion and all? I'd love to see it in more detail.

Can anyone vouge for the "boiling gloves to shrink them" technique. My driver gloves are a touch too large in the fingers and its ruining my look :sick I already have leather conditioner just don't want too ruin my 45 dollar gloves.

Anyone looking for an "event safe" foam hammer?

Foam Hammer | NewRuleFX – SMASHProps Unbreakable Props

These guys get the job done!

I have been doing some more weathering and painting to mine since I received it this past Tuesday.
Let me know if any one needs in-hand product pics.

I was thinking of buying one of these, I'd like to see some pictures if you have any. I ended up making my own but I may still go with this foam hammer.

Don't put your gloves in boiling water. Someone in the thread did it and he said the gloves were instantly ruined if I remembered correctly.

I know I would never dream of doing anything like that to my Gaspar gloves.

Hey Elijah, is there any chance of seeing the letters on your cap front on? I'm really impressed, it's by far the best one I've seen. Are you interested in doing a hat for myself?

I know it's been covered many times before, but I was hoping to get some sizing clarification before I finalize my Gaspar Gloves oder. One hand is a hair under 8.5 inches and the other is a little over 8 inches. My palm gets a bit larger below the knuckles, but my fingers a little short and thin compared to the rest of my hand and I don't want to risk long and/or baggy fingers on the gloves. Would my best bet be to size down to a 7.5 and try stretching the rest of the glove? Thanks for any help.

I'm very busy right now with university (mid-terms), but if you took your hat to a stitchers I'm sure they would be able to do it, they just need a serger machine. You could probably do it yourself with a simple embroidery kit.

Also Undeadkennedy: My gaspar gloves were too small when I received them
(I could barely fit them on), I ordered 7.5, however I soaked them in warm water and wore them until they stretched to my hand. They now fit my hand perfectly as if they were tailored to them and I couldn't be happier, however you have to be careful. Don't soak them too long, and use hot water, but not boiling hot water. This process will take some of the brown dye out of the gloves but it wont show when they dry. Also mix some rubbing alcohol in with the water to help dry them quicker. Your gloves may become a bit shriveled during the drying and will probably stay like that after they've dried, but you wont see this when your wearing them.

Here are some videos! I have another small one coming up with the Gloves and Toothpicks.. There's a party next door so I'll shoot when the shut up.
