Dark Knight Ferry Detonator Remote parts found

Time and money wasted on this POS too. The keys that come with it have rectangular holes. We need to list the links to the definitive parts somewhere.

What!? The links are all posted on the first page. Did you buy the first thing you saw??

Well here it is again for anyone else who won't read through the whole thread.

No, I read and re-read. I thought the keys in the pic above looked closer to the real deal so I went with that. Did you guys take pics with the keys fully inserted? They look like they are sticking out a bit.

The keys are fully inserted. From what I'm seeing, the Joker's keys are flush and the ferry keys stick out a bit. Maybe some hack sawing is in order, good eye.

Having just putting the kits together! This is the electronic decision maker, fully wired. Still waiting on a few more parts.

Here's a photo of my finished civilian ferry boat detonator. The green LED or power indicator is wired to the switch above the relay and the red LED is wired to the key switch (also working).

I'm posting a video soon of my build along with benhs1898's Joker double detonator. Tell us what you think!

Here it is, tada!

BTW...

Feel free to pick it apart, but remember, in the end there wasn't much source material to work off of.

Great work guys! Makes me want to put my own together if your not going to be selling a run down the road.

Honestly I'd really like to do a run of these but they are not easy to wire nor assemble. The finished product feels fairly solid but in the mind set of the joker we built these using only glue and solder. I guess what I'm trying to say is the overall cost of the work may not be immediately seen when held by someone else.

Then again, if there was a solid interest in these and the quality was acceptable, I might be so inclined.

Coolness. Thanks. It looks like they gave it a wash of a darker color to get in the recesses.

yep, at first we thought it might be thin almost transparent tape, but it is probably just dirtied up, maybe even oil!

This is what I have so far.

I'm toying around with the idea of keeping the batteries hidden between the circuit boards. This way, I won't have to untape the main batteries.

Where did you guys find the black switch? Radio Shack had some ugly silver ones. :(
