Dark Knight Ferry Detonator Remote parts found

Sometimes I can't see the forrest for the trees. :lol Thanks to whoever made me buy a magic wand! :lol I gotta check the status of my order. It shouldn't take THIS long.

Come to think of it, I did choose first class mail, so I guess it will take longer.

No, he's right on the Velleman clips, it's four of them back to back, and the silver parts are the batteries. You can see theres two seperate black/red cable pairs running down the handle.

It isn't four two holders, it's four single.

Notice that this is only the width of ONE AA

I'm working with Benhs1898 on this build. He's making the Joker style detonator and I'm making the civilian detonator (red tape version). I'm going a bit further and finding a book box to store it in!

If it is four single ones, how come the 9v connector on the bottom?

Could the 'blue' one be different than the 'red' one?

Well in the shots I had seen I thought it looked thick enough for two AA batters stacked in double holders, but then the picture he posted showed it was clearly too thin.

So, no idea.

Got the stuff in today. The signal generator is out of stock, so they refunded my money for that. The remote control panel switch has the wrong key. :(

Now the signal generator is gonna cost double because shipping costs more than the item! :(

I'm not convinced on the battery holders. The ones I've seen have the rounded clip part in the center to hold the battery in. We'd be seeing black where the silver is.

Hope someone will be willing to build me one? I've been waiting forever to see one of these done.

It's not four of them. I thought so at first, but then I re-examined the movie and saw that there were only 2 AA's per stack. Those retainer clips are not the same on single X AA holders and they don't have 9 volts connectors on the bottom.

If I had to guess. I'd say the 2X AAbatteries holders were cut in half in the center and then stack side to side against each other. Retaining the battery holders tab style which you can see under the tape, as well as retaining the 9 volt connectors on the bottom. The tape helps to hold them in place. and maybe makes it pretty easy to remove the batteries after the tape is removed.

Or maybe it's just a piece of black plastic in the center taped down to help support/hold the AA batteries to the other stuff. I dont know.

I would also like to add that the velleman part for the top of the Jokers master detonator controller has not been found yet. I wasted lots of time looking for it. It looks like two different boards " l l " laying side by side to one another. Wish these things went on exhibit so we could get a better look at them.

First part to arrive is the key switch. I followed the third link on the discussion of where to buy them. Very pleased with the key shape and design!

Time and money wasted on this POS too. The keys that come with it have rectangular holes. We need to list the links to the definitive parts somewhere.
