AWESOME Photos!!! My business partner and I have been working on a lot of Tombstone wardrobe and Johnny Ringo's shirt is on our list. We have the machine to get the dragon embodied, but right now I am trying to figure out the fabric of his shirt. Did you ever come up with anything??? We are also going to do his Wild Rag/BandannaI rarely have an opportunity to make meaningful updates here, but this is pretty exciting. I have had the opportunity to buy ten original continuity photos of Ringo. None of these have been seen previously, and many show details that were either previously unseen or not clear. For those working on their own Ringo costume, I hope this helps!

I only know the Tombstone Guns and Gear Book for info ...That is very exciting. I never have pursued the fabric for the shirts.
I'd love to see the pattern for the bandana. I did some preliminary drawings years ago but could never find someone who was able to make them the way you see them in the film.
Sorry for not answering this until now, but I never got a notification that you responded to me. I have been working with some people on this project, and we now have the correct pattern for Ringo's wild rag. Of course this will have to be printed, but that is nothing new to us............That is very exciting. I never have pursued the fabric for the shirts.

Great gear,I don't have any ringo clothes only a cobbled rig...here's my other guns and gear and 1/6 Johnny 50/50 historic and movie mash-upHere's my best guess at the scarf pattern comparison shot.
here's a! Few more and some of my sketchesVery, very nice! You have the look that could easily pull off Curly Bill too.
who is making your Ringo Rig ?I didn't want this thread to die out so I figured I would bring some of my information over from my Doc Holliday thread. The Johnny Ringo Shirt is finally getting made, yes, I know some other people have attempted to do this shirt, but they just never did it right in my book. Thanks to the help of BroadSword and his friend we are now able to FINALLY put this Shirt Mystery to rest once and for all.
Below is a prototype of the dragon embroidered on some fabric (not the fabric we are using for the shirt). As stated, this is just the prototype as the black edging still needs to be perfected around the dragon. This will be put on the correct shield bib and then buttoned to the shirt. Our shirt will have all the little strange little details that is on the original Ringo shirt as well like the pointed yoke on the back of the shirtWithout BroadSword and his friend (Wendy) this would have taken us much longer to make, plus BroadSword was kind enough to share is Ringo Bandana pattern with us, so now this is being printed on the correct fabric to give it that correct movie look and feel.
Be on the lookout for the final product which is going out here VERY SOON
IF you go back and look real closely at Art Andrews behind the scenes photos, we will see this dragon and shirt details as you just can't really see it in the movie. Thanks, Art, for posting these photos as it made our job a lot easier to get the shirt right
