Dark Knight Ferry Detonator Remote parts found

progress looks great clutch and kudos on the accurate relay! Ben and I also hid a small battery to avoid changing AA's in future. I cheated with the switch and stole mine from Ben's strobe kit

Key switch. Almost there.

I cheated. The lock and key are from two different sources. Thus it will not turn. I'm wondering if I took a drill to the inside of it if I could make it turnable. If not, I'll probably put a tiny switch on the other side for the red LED.

Great research. I work on X ray system and am gonna look around the shop for some similar parts to make one that is pretty close.

Why didn't you just use the key switch that came with the right key? Clearly the barrel just above the nut is too rounded on yours, and even a tiny bit too wide.

I think it is a little too shallow. This is what I'm seeing which is partially obscured by the duct tape.

Just a bag full of pieces at the moment. I'm looking for a tiny white wire with blue stripes. :lol I know a guy that has a ton of old computer equipment that I need to hit up for the wiring, just haven't gotten around to it.

I just want to drop a link here in case anyone needs LEDs.
The place is called LEDshoppe.com and you can get LEDs for really cheap.
I've been buying from them for a while now and I've never had an issue.
No affiliation, I just hate when people pay the outrageous RadioShack prices.

Hi there,
I found this site and literally couldn't stop laughing....love it..:lol
I'm the guy who designed and built these detonators for the film and must say yours look really good!
and the bloke who thought it was funny, that it was a decision maker circuit
on the detonator was right!! it was partly the reason I used it, it made me laugh due to what was going on in the scene!
cant believe you figured out most of the parts...absolute genius!

just end by saying two things (maplin electronics) (RS components) u.k..!:)

So i know this is a little late to the discussion, but did you ever find out which antenna was used, or which battery holders were used or at least looked the best?

Hi, I only just found this place yesterday and I am amazed at what people produce, most of it way above my ability. In any case I just registered to reply to this thread as I am near sure the antenna used is this one: Buy Two-Way Radio & PMR Antennas PMR antenna, 2in., BNC, UHF, 430-472MHz RS MFXU-BNC-U online from RS for next day delivery. It has the right shape, and colours as the on in the pictures.

Hope this helps.
