Dark Knight Ferry Detonator Remote parts found

I found place but they cost a certain amount and you have to order 100. They are an official Vellman retailer though.

This place has all that parts IIRC. Just type in the parts name. I still can't believe no one has built one yet. It seems pretty simple to do. If I wasnt so tied up with projects. I would do it. There's a few places online that sell the parts with out the need to order in surplus. I have the links to those sites on my portable hardrive somewhere.
 
Is there any way this project could be done as a group project ?
Everyone places a single order for all the parts.
Then build as a group.
It would need someone to organize a group purchase, and somebody would have to come up with instructions on how to build.

Scott, you should give it a shot. It's a fairly straightforward project that really only requires some logistical leadership. I say go for it dude.
 
http://www.bgmicro.com/ has all the parts. Enter code FBNFS for 10% off. Just ordered everything including the switch box, so you guys might want to hold off until I get mine to verify it is the correct one.
 
Hey Clutch, wondered if you could post the items you got. I had some trouble finding the needed parts on that site.

Also wondering if they have the parts for the double master detonator.

Woops, nevermind.

I would correct you all on the magic message wand. It actually appears to be two AA battery holders taped together. Each battery has the label stripped off.

I was wondering about that wand! I haven't received the parts yet. They are probably shipping as cheaply as possible.

And guess what. the AA' holders are Velleman brand as well. They have special 9 volt like connectors on them to connect to each other. Check out the picture with it in the box and

Also notice how the connectors end on the very end is covered with a 9 volt connector tab.

No, he's right on the Velleman clips, it's four of them back to back, and the silver parts are the batteries. You can see theres two seperate black/red cable pairs running down the handle.
