Ill Check with Roman on the threading of the older booster, but from what I recall was that when he started making the boosters with threading they havnt changed. What I was referring to was the older boosters that were not copied from the original but I will call him tomorrow to verify. Keep letting me know whos works and whos doesn't,

Thank you! I'll pick up some batteries tomorrow for it.
As for getting it to fit; I did have to do some dremeling and stuff to get everything to fit smoothly together. But it works! Hopefully tomorrow I can post a photo of it with the crystal all lit up.

Ill Check tomorrow at the Hard ware store,
The set screw is a 6/32. I'm not sure if it was a 1/16 or 7/64

the only difference was that the non fx came with bolts, other than that everything is the same.

Please note: The saber does not have all the details installed yet (i.e. D-ring, transistors).
Caution: There are some sharp edges. Be wary when handling. I am surprised the shop would not deburr their work.

Does the clamp spacer remove with the single set screw? I've gotten the screw it, but the spacer doesn't want to budge.

Also, how are the transistors supposed to fit now?
Edit: I see that one should be filed down, but what holds them in? Mine screwed directly into the clamp spacer before.

You will need to use a nut on the inside of the clamp to hold the back transistor. For the front you will need to glue to the outside surface.
