Cylon Resurrection Tub - $5,750

This has got to be one of the cooler of all the props in MY book and probably the few pieces I'd REALLY like to have. How cool would it be to have this as your regular tub or jacuzzi. Other than the ton of greebles I wonder how much of this is a found prop and how much was made from scratch. I'd pay 6 grand for this if it was functional.

This is just the first auction, and then considering the ebay auctions, there realy is, if you include evrything, a peice for evry price.

Prices at auction are driven by demand. BGS is in demand right now. Give it time. There will be more stuff out there.

The auction was incredible. Dgasser and I had the opportunity to work the security for the costuming section which allowed us to see up front and personal a lot of these pieces. The Propworx team was dream to work with and Alec handled himself with graceful poise through the whole nerve racking auction. My hat is truly off to the Propworx team for making this an awesome experience and for the fans they allowed to have worked the auction.

Yeah, the prices certainly did end up going much higher than I expected. I bid $1500 on the CIC door, only to see it go for $9000. I bid within the expected range on a few other items, such as the launch bay cart, some of the signage, and a colony flag, just to see them go for double to quadruple the expected price.

The 2 items that I did win were not too bad though. The portable comp was $650, and the equipment box was $300. Those were actually on the low side of the expected price, but they turned out to be the rare exceptions to the rule.

Still, I'm happy that I got my pieces of Galactica, and they will go together nicely as a display.
