Anyone get pickup notification yet? Stills says not yet picked up on the tracking
Hopefully this answers some questions since we’ve been feeling anxious about it too:
To be fair, everyone was told they should be “out” by the 10th. And then again that “pickup” was scheduled for yesterday. Hard to know what to expect going forwardThank you for the answer.
I talked with Lewis and now it is totally clear. The process is a lot more complex than just a “big shipping on Friday” and all is done. I did not know this, I am not sure anyone knew this. All I am trying to say with my not native English language knowledge that if I would know all the infos I wouldnt expect a tracking number/shipping yesterday. And now I understand why my tracking number still says “not picked up yet”.
Thank you for all of your hard works and effort that made this happen.
Hopefully this answers some questions since we’ve been feeling anxious about it too:
Lewis ‘has’ been.
1: getting the boxes and hilts packed and prepped.
2: closing on and moving into a shop-space to streamline his workload (this was suppose to happen months ago but due to lockdown restrictions this only just happened this week right prior to another extended U.K. lockdown.) Unfortunately he didn’t have a much of a choice with timing in this case -
3. printing tracking and labeling to be ready for pickup.
4. Waiting for DHL to pickup where we will all see the origin scan and tracking info to start to roll in.
Lewis is currently,
1. Managing the shop move-in logistics
2. Continuing to print and label
3. In contact with and waiting on DHL frustratingly.
From DHL: ‘it is the busy season’ (subtext, during the holidays in an unprecedented pandemic)
I can’t speak for Lewis and what he sees across the world but I’m confident that as soon as DHL comes through for pickup many minds will be quite at ease and the delivery time is supposed to be expedient
Quite understood.... yes label printing began the tenth with anticipated pickup by the parcel service but they didn’t deliver. To be fair, everyone was told they should be “out” by the 10th. And then again that “pickup” was scheduled for yesterday. Hard to know what to expect going forwardjust hoping that it’s not too much longer
I finally just got a copy of the deleted ROTJ cave scene on blu ray after having 2 sets that didn’t include the deleted scenes. How the heck that scene didn’t make the final movie cut is head scratching? Has anyone ever reproduced the tool Luke uses to work on the internals in the scene? I’ve got the MOM standard kit coming and all the drama just makes it all the sweeter. No worries.
