I saw one video on youtube where the guy sewed the edges together with thread. That's what I was panning on doing. I imagine you will have to cut it a little small so you can stretch it tight.

Can you describe how you managed to wrap it around the handle and get a seamless finish. While I’m yet to try that technique myself, I can imagine it must be difficult to wrap the grip mat around the grip without getting overlap or a big join line that doesn’t match up?

Gunmetal is a little on the light side for me. The colors in pictures is hard to pin down,
there is so much light and shadow play that I almost considered 2 different shades of black.

I finally settled on Dupli-color graphite BCC0414

o'reilly auto parts has it for about $8 a can

The forward barrel and shroud parts will be a gloss black, I'm going to try Dupli-color Brilliant Black Pearl BCC0427

I just noticed, so far, only me and RLD9K have posted finished pictures of "ELILAY's" Blaster. I haven't seen another version yet, that comes close to the fine details of ELILAY'S.

V1 is not anywhere to be be found now, there was such a limited window, I feel lucky to have snagged a V1!

I don't want to miss out on V2, so please keep us posted.

I check here every day to see if there are any updates.

My hunger for more lead me to buy one of those cheap PLA versions but what a heap!
Feels like a paper airplane, 3/4 size, barley worth the effort to work on it at all.

Please keep us posted in advance on when V2 is going to be available, I sure don't want to miss out!

V2 is comming quite nice, I was looking at my computer of some photos but I can't belive I wasn't took any. But v2 is mostly molded, I think in 1-2 weeks it might be even ready.
