Test print for the claws and the tube around the claws turned out great. Got a lot of cleaning up to do first. Can’t wait to get some paint on them.

Yep, looking forward to see those claws painted and gripping the "Han-in-Carbonite" monolith

Got sidetracked with other life stuff and then I started redoing the face for the lifesized hic in the shop. Started from a 3d scan of our original and reshaped a good amount and then smoothed the face over completely and tried to go almost wrinkle by wrinkle using photos of the original prop. The camera angle isn’t perfect to its comparison here but it does a good enough job at highlighting the amount of work that went into it.

And this one is a decent close up to show more of the detail.

I don’t want to cross streams too much on the threads but all my research, justifications for the changes and build process are all over at the other thread if you’re interested.

I bring it up though bc unfortunately now, think I need to redo the 1/6 version with the new face… but that’ll have to happen toward the end of this project. Spent too much time on Han as it is.
