Hello,

parallel to my X-Wing build I have started another project. It's a small Diorama in Scale 1:16 with Han Solo in Carbonite at Jabba's Palast.
The Dio is built out of some soft plastic sheets. This sheets are easy to handle (cutting, forming....).
The Rest is printed with my Resin printer from Anycubic.

Resin Parts like mesh for the ground, Han Solo, Boushh and the two Trophys are printed with Anycubic.

The rest of the Dio was also covered with plaster, I figured out the structure was too much and I want some smoother walls. Sandpaper 180 Grid was the answer.

Preshading with dark grey, special the corner to create some depth.

After first coat of Tamiya Kaki and then I sprayed some Deck Tan to lighten up the corners, the last step was some mix between Kaki and Deck tan to create some random color spots.

Next Steps will be:
  • LED in the ground under the Mesh
  • LED in my new created wallbox
  • coloring Han Solo, Boushh and the Trophy animals

Was some days in Vacation but now I'll continue with my Dio.
Made a Battery Box for the backside of the Diorama.
Finished also the switch for the Carbonite Block and the ground Floor, everything is illuminated with LED´s
and self created parts via TibnkerCAd and my 3D Printer from Anycubic.

Looking good for sure:cool::cool::love::love:...and very difficult to achieve the same lighting effects with little LEDs:( You should opt for the old filament bulb to have a better and wide light projection on the back wall, for example. Also, you have that grid lighting effect coming from the ceiling on the right/left hand side of your pic. Eager to see your next update(y)(y)

Finally finished my Diorama what was a real fun to build, the whole Dio started with a Testprint on my new 3D Printer and I figured out there must be something around and ended up in Han Solo in Carbonite with Leia as Boushh some Trophies and LED glued together at some Styrene Sheets

Thank you for the likes and your comments.

See you at the next Project.......
