This was my favorite costume from Labyrinth, always wanted to try something similar. Just awesome.
 
its not a live auction, in fact, its not an auction at all. So, I believe, posting the link is not an issue.

It IS an amazing costume, albeit a $6000 US replica.
 
Yeah it's finished now, so it should be fine leaving it up...but maaaaaaaaaaaaan is that seriously COOL... It was one of my fave costumes from the film too. That'd be such a wicked costume to wear...I wonder who won it..

No one won it as the highest offer was only 600 quid, a far cry from the asking of $3000. I just saw that shipping to Canada for this is $1100.... HOLY...
 
I'm sure if the buyer entered this suit in about 10 Halloween costume contest's
it could actually pay for itself. $$$

At least they don't claim that it IS the original costume. But 2 years in the making? I don't understand that. For a professional with the molds, this might be a month or two's work at best. He must mean 2 years in his spare time?
 
OK from now on when you find something cool like this some one has to write down what the item is. I'm looking at this thread and there are no pictures and no one says what it is, and the auction is long over.

So here I am scratching my head wondering what everyone was so impressed by ? What was AWSOME, AWSOME, AWSOME ?
 
or you could... you know... not bump threads from the thread graveyard from two years ago and make everyone ELSE wonder what it was. :lol
