Thanks! I still haven't cracked the nut on electoplating 3D prints...the copper conductive spray was a bust. Probably due to my cheap at-home kit.

Finished this build of the Antidote Vial from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984). This is a kit put together from scratch by myself and RPF users cjunco1937 and chubsANDdoggers.



Each part was sourced separately.

I received Burke's Calling Card from Aliens (1986), purchased from its maker, RPF user mercuryapollo.



This card is etched in acrylic and painted. Very nice quality!

I received these Hicks', Hudson's and Vasquez' Dog Tags from Aliens (1986). They were purchased from their maker, RPF user mercuryapollo.



The tags are etched in acrylic, and remain unpainted.

There are at least two versions of the dog tags found in the movie: some with black text and some unpainted. I suspect the black-text versions were for the brightness of the locker room, while the unpainted ones show up better in the darker sets. I requested Hudson's "PFC" designation found in the locker room version in the all-clear style of tag that's seen in the auction, and removed the periods after their titles for consistency. A little less prop accurate, a little more in-universe accurate IMO.

Most of the serial numbers can be found on the monitor readout leading in to the locker room scene.

I received this 14th Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver from Doctor Who (TV), purchased from a seller on eBay.



Although I'm not the biggest fan of the more modern Who episodes, this sonic screwdriver is really impressive. It's chock full of features, including multiple light colors and sounds, as well as "secret" modes for more lights and sound effects! The finish is very clean and bright, and the price is very low. What's not to love?

I received this Albi Glass Decanter from Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), purchased from a seller on eBay.



Thanks to this awesome RPF thread about the availability of these vintage bottles that were used in Marion's bar in the movie, I had to score one for my Indiana Jones display. Very affordable!

I received this Handbook for the Recently Deceased and Betelgeuse Flyer from Beetlejuice (1988), from a seller on Etsy.



Both are really nice and made with love! The book is dusty, filthy, smelly, and I might have gotten some kind of residue on my hands. I love that!!! The flyer is folded and wrinkled.

Picked up this Shot Glass from John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017), purchased from Walmart.



Big thanks to stussy for the tip! These 3-ounce shot glasses are Better Homes & Gardens brand, and came as a six-pack for seven bucks!



(I don't normally go much for dishes and glassware as props...but it's the opening scene of the movie, and so cool! PEACE!)

I received this Grail Tablet Rubbing from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), purchased from S'wak Props.



It's huge, and although it very much looks like a real rubbing, I do think it's printed on some kind of rice paper analogue. Folded, it makes an awesome background prop for the Indy Shelf!

I received this Peacock's Eye Diamond from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), purchased from a seller here on the RPF. This is RelicMaker's incredible reproduction!



This Peacock's Eye "diamond" is actually made out of cubic zirconia (and not crystal glass), giving it a lot more authentic appearance and reflecting so many more colors!

I received this Headpiece to the Staff of Ra (Imam Version) from Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), purchased from a seller here on the RPF. This is RelicMaker's incredible reproduction!



The headpiece is a second-generation casting from the production-used prop, cast in solid brass, polished, and given some light aging. The topaz crystal in the center is vintage. There is no more accurate reproduction available than this!

Some months ago I received this Green Knowledge Crystal from Superman: The Movie (1978), purchased from RPF user Nakai.



This is real cut crystal, what some call the "Donner" crystal. It's exquisitely cut

It took months to figure out how how I wanted to display it! I had really thought about some kind of nice "ice and crystal console" look, which many other makers have done. But I really prefer minimalist stands in order to showcase the prop itself.



So this is an acrylic "pen display stand", tilted up and held that way with clear rubber bumpers. Both can be found on Amazon.



(Superman is one of my all-time favorite movies, so this was a bit of a grail for me.)

I received these Rules of Engagement Cards from John Wick: Chapter 4 (2023), purchased from maker and RPF user Kreativebox.



These finely detailed cards are printed on 3mm aluminum and cut to size. The detailing on both sides appears to be incredibly accurate to the film, and they are heavy. I think these are the most accurate RoG cards you can get these days!

Finally finished this Compound V Vial from The Boys (TV). This is a scratch build.



The 10mL glass vial was sourced from a medical supply company. The cap is resin 3D printed from my own design. Inside, an o-ring helps keep things airtight, and the liquid is a 50-50 blend of isopropyl alcohol and water, with neon blue food coloring and a couple drops of glycerin to prevent settling. The white dot on the top is self-adhesive vinyl cut by my shiny new Cricut!

I received these Anti-Feral Ghoul Serum Vials from Fallout (TV), purchased from a seller on Etsy.



These small vials are glass with metal lids, and came sealed with the yellow liquid inside. To my eye, they're a nearly perfect match for the show!

I received this Duff Beer Can Cooler from The Simpsons (TV), purchased from a seller on eBay.



The cover is made of silicone and slips over any 12 oz. soda or beer can.



(Not terribly accurate, but the Duff Beer can has been rendered at so many different qualities I'm calling it close enough for the animation shelf!)

I finished these Cape Brooches from Doctor Strange, Avengers: Infinity War, Spider-Man: No Way Home (and others). They were purchased on Amazon and weathered heavily with a black acrylic wash.



These metal pins (with red poured resin) are just a little large, but they still look nice. They needed some serious weathering in order to look more accurate on the display shelf.

I finished assembling this Agent Bug from The Matrix. It was purchased as a resin 3D-printed kit from a seller on Etsy, and then finished and assembled.



Although the full kit is resin, I replaced the four "spars" with 1mm aluminum rods to add some realism. The chrome finish over the center "spring" is also coated in graphite to darken and dull it some.

I finished this HexTech Crystal Orb from Arcane (TV), assembled from multiple sources. The blue crystal itself was purchased from a seller on Etsy.



The crystal is 3D-printed in blue resin. I gave that a gloss clearcoat to add brilliance. Then I used the hidden vent holes to insert a 20-light blue fairy light LED string. I 3D printed the stand in resin from a model found on Thingiverse, and finished it in gold. And then I hooked it all up to ~3 volts worth of USB power.



(Looks good in the display with prop replicas from animation properties.)

I finished this Homelander's Shoulder Epaulet from The Boys (TV), resin 3D printed from a model purchased on Cults3D.



After printing, sanding, and priming, I painted the whole thing in Tamiya TS-21 Gold. Weathering was done with a heavy wash of black and brown acrylic paint, painted on and removed with cotton balls. The blood spatter is acrylic as well.



(I think it looks great with the Compound V Vial. )
