I made this Micro-bot from Big Hero 6 (2014), 3D printed in resin from my own design.



The microbot is only 34mm long. It was sprayed in gloss black and then graphite powder was rubbed into it. The dish is a 100mm glass petri dish lid.

I received this Overlook Hotel Key Fob from The Shining (1980), purchased from RPF user Chettus. It's engraved acrylic, fully realized on both sides!

For the key, I found a vintage Taylor 54 KS key on eBay, which looks like a VERY close match to the film version.

For displaying it, I took a piece of wood plank and literally chopped it up with a camping axe! Then I gave it a dark walnut stain and a gloss clear-coat. The doorknob is the closest match I could find: a Kwikset Tylo Entry Door Knob from Amazon. I disassembled it and affixed the keyhole half to the plank with some screws. The Taylor key fits in the Kwikset keyhole nicely.

(Yes, I know Jack chopped up a different door than the one for Room 237, but sometimes folks need an assist for recognizing!)

I made these Ectoplasm and Mood Slime Samples from Ghostbusters (1984) and Ghostbusters II (1989), made at home using the same method as the film productions!



The slime is made of methylcellulose, dissolved in hot water, colored with neon food coloring gel, and then cooled. It took some trial and error to get the consistency right. Wonder how long it'll last before it gets moldy! Wonder if I can add anti-mold agents! Wonder if I'll have to switch to resin.

The glassware came from Amazon, and both samples were illuminated from below.




(These samples are absolutely real prop replicas! Maybe not the glassware, though. Wanted to add some "flavor" to the Ghostbusters shelf!)



(I bet it looks crispy in the dark.)

I finished my build of Forky from Toy Story 4 (2019), made from scratch, from all the same materials that Bonnie used in the movie!



Not a prop, you say? I beg to differ. Forky is a collection of TEN different props, assembled into a 1:1 scale action figure!

I received this T-Virus Vial from Resident Evil (2002), purchased from a seller on Etsy.



There are several replica versions of the T-Virus vial prop out there, but this one is most accurate to the opening of the first film. It is made out of clear acrylic, and I believe the corkscrews are resin-filled. The end caps are machined and polished aluminum.



(Sorry folks, there's only one halfway-decent Resident Evil movie. )

It's a Grail Diary from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989)! Although I received it a week ago, it's taken me awhile to really pore through its contents and truly admire the work of art that S'wak Props has put together.



I won't go into too much detail here; the photos speak for themselves. It's beautifully aged, lovingly assembled, and chock full of inserts (some of which I am choosing to display outside the diary).

I received this Spanish Doubloon from The Goonies (1985), after learning that the one I previously had acquired was a recast of RelicMaker 's fine doubloon. Luckily, he had inventory available and I was able to replace it!



It's thick, it's heavy, and it's beautifully finished! Its poor copy seems "shriveled" and and "fuzzy" in detail by comparison.



RelicMaker's version is absolutely the most accurate out there!



(I'm thinking I need to add some crusty dirt for authenticity...just not sure how to do that just yet.)

I just got off the freeway about 20 minutes back. I-5 North in Oregon. We were passed by a car with a Goonies sticker and I joked to my buddy that they might be from Astoria because we were maybe 10 miles from the junction to head that way. Nope, Idaho license plate, too funny. But maybe he was headed to see the house, who knows.

I finished this Lumon Band-Aid from Severance (TV). This is made from a real blue band-aid, and then cut to size and painted.



The Lumon logo was made by spraying through a mask that was made with a vinyl cutter. The sad face was dran by hand.

I FINALLY finished this Dream's Ruby Pendant from The Sandman (TV), a combination of real jewelry parts and resin 3D printed parts.



In order to get as accurate as possible, I significantly modified the files I had purchased on Cults 3D. After modifying and printing the gold frame, it was finished in Alclad II Polished Aluminum over white gloss, then tinted. The ruby was printed in clear red resin, then finely sanded and coated in Quick Shine Floor Wax. The chain and jewelry connectors are gold-plated.



(This one was on the bench for a long time while I hunted for the right chain and the jewelry bits--bail and jump rings--that go with it! I loev that this hobby teaches me new things all the time!)

Loving this one, definitely ups the game for detail. I have a few very small jewelry pieces that took me as long as whole costumes but they stand out as my favorites later.

Some weeks ago I received this Dream's Sand Pouch from The Sandman (TV), purchased from RPF Users Magnoli Props and Indy Magnoli at the Magnoli Props store. I've been holding off on displaying it until I had my Ruby finished.



The pouch is made of lamb skin leather, and is adorned with a leather cord and metal beads. It's stunningly beautiful.



And now I can display it with my Ruby!



(Yes, I put real sand in it. It is a prop replica, after all!)

I received these Nuka Cola Bottle Caps from Fallout (TV), from a seller on Etsy.



I'm really impressed with these. They appear to be printed directly on the cap, because I can't find a paper edge of any kind. Each cap is also weathered by hand.

I received this Guy's Necktie from Free Guy (2021). After spending some time on this awesome thread, I followed the link to the vendor on page 2 and made the purchase.



I believe this is a perfect match for the version used in the movie!



(Looks good with my Guy Name Tag. I might even wear it from time to time!)

I received this Paimon Pendant from Hereditary (2018). The pendant and chain came from two different Etsy sellers.



The pendant was originally made in stainless steel, and I was able to (mostly) electroplate it in gold using a cheap home kit. No paint!



(This is a replica of the three-headed version of the demon Paimon's symbol, which was designed that way for the movie. The real sigil of Paimon normally has four heads.)

Kudos+ on doing the true electoplate. I use my kit to do the advanced oxidation weathering for metal relics.
