Here are the pics of the finished black and white phaser with the metal parts on it. What do you all think :confused

Wow!!! And you didn't even maintain a safety factor!!
Excellent!

Gray and dark bronze actually.
These are the paint colors I will be using on the next phaser I will be making.
For the p2 body use krylon shadow gray spray paint. The handle use Rust-oleum dark bronze metallic spray paint with a gloss clear coat. The p1 body use Zynolyte dark gray primer spray paint with a gloss clear coat.

For the P1 use Tamiya Gunship Gray spray, it's a perfect color and much better paint than the Zyno primer. Nice satin finish that looks just right. Tamiya has a good P2 color too, I can't remember the color but it's a medium gray with a slight blue tint.

For the bronze handle, look for Citadel paints in the hobby shop, the color is Boltgun Metal. Darken it with a few drops of black to get the best handle color.

I have two of them to paint up so I may give both versions a try, thanks for the tips. Looks like I need to find me a hobby shop.

After I finish molding/casting my assault phaser, warp speed will be the word!

Hey Chris I'm getting ready to start my next phaser build soon. Do you think you can keep up this time? :lol

I have a question for you talented gentlemen. How do you get the nozzle piece off? I've tried prying and heating and everything I can think of. Am I missing something or do I have to cut it off to remove it?

Rebelyell I use a putty knife and insert it between the groove and pry off the ring in the front. It will probably get damaged but if your replacing the old one with a metal part it won't matter.
