Art Asylum / Diamond Select TOS Phaser build with metal parts.

The painting is done on the p2, getting ready to attach some of the metal parts. How does it look so far :confused

Hard to tell from the small pic, but it looks fine. What paint did you use? I tried the Tamiya gunship gray on a P1, but it looks too blue.

I used Krylon shadow gray on the p2 body. If the Tamiya gunship gray does not look good on the p1 you can always use the zynolyte primer paint.

Finally had some time to finish the Art Asylum phaser p2 body. Here it is with the new paint, straight side ribs, metal parts, and a window cut open in the front so the p1 can be seen. What do you think so far :confused

Beautiful job!
Thanks KUROK!

Looks great! Now let's see the p1.

Thanks robn1!
Ask and you shall receive robn1:lol

Here are some pictures of the finished Art Asylum p1 with the new dark gray paint, seam line, metal parts, and even a blue sapphire watch crown. Also some pictures of it attached to the p2 body for the finished result. What do you think about it :confused

Amazing! Reminds me of a set my dad had when I was a toddler (30+ years ago). Two phasers and little reflective badges you could wear, worked like laser tag. Wish we'd held onto that set.
