Anigrand Star destroyer

Seriously stunning build, love the lighting and the bold paintwork. Really impressed by how flush the FO's seem to be!

I have the Randy Cooper one , which I prefer. This is a great kit though. My only criticism of this build is the use of superbright LED's to light the optics. You want something of this scale to have subtle pinhole lighting rather than the Christmas tree effect which superbrights give. Just my two cents worth but the lights look way too bright and it detracts from the model itself. Nice job though.

Yeah, he sells about one a week. I've been watching for months. The story is he bought a few of them before they stopped producing them. Okey dokey...

wow...i have one of these fully led lighted as well. however, yours looks better. :(
one question, the edges of my SD on the two triangular ends kinda curl up. i dont see this problem on ur kit. sigh...

I have the RC kit but haven't started it.

I too, dislike the bright lights at that scale. I'm assuming there is some way to have a dimmer control to help with this.
I'm not an electrical whiz.
I know a few of you are: can someone come up with a solution?
I was going to email one of the sites who offer us lighting kits (maybe Madman) to see if anyone else is perplexed with this.

Love the build up by the way.
I would love to have one.

Use warm white LEDs. They give off a yellowish light and look more like incandescent lighting.

If you want dimmer lights, you could always like paint over the light or something like that, maybe just some white paint until it's a level you like.

This is the way to go. Standard led's are much better at this scale. Watch the movie again. Superbrights are way too bright for this. Not knocking the build just trying to help.
