ANH Hero DL-44 Discussion - Three ANH Greeblies Found

Re: ANH Hero DL-44 Discussion

Thanks Dann!

Looks like those shots will show something. In the one close up you can definitely see something on the barrel as the front-sight/antenna greebie it's just a little out of focus.

What's with the blurays? None of them seem to want to play on computers! I think GL is trying to keep something from us!

Thanks again.

I got a couple screengrabs in 1080 but i cropped them poorly, I'll come back to them soon....

Re: ANH Hero DL-44 Discussion

Thanks for the specs guys. Nonetheless I feel like I was unclear with regard to one of them.

Although a crude example, this image should clarify what I'm talking about. The spec I'm questioning is the 1.200, which is the distance from the end of the breech to the where the end of the flash hider meets the barrel.

If this changes any of your measurement, please let me know. And again, apologies for being unclear.

Thanks for the caps, Dann!

Like Pat said, a couple of those shots look promising!

Re: ANH Hero DL-44 Discussion

Oh okay, you meant from the breech of the bull barrel rather than the c96's breech. My mistake, I can check out the measurement for you later on today.:thumbsup

Re: ANH Hero DL-44 Discussion

greedy... :) Cant believe you guys werent on it. Usually bidding is fierce on those

Re: ANH Hero DL-44 Discussion

I'd be happy with just one. I only have a Denix, but it's modded and ready to go. Just need someone to make parts. ;)

Re: ANH Hero DL-44 Discussion

We are very close to being ready to make parts.

How can we start to get an idea of the number of sets we will need?

We are also looking into making a CNC Aluminum C96 Mauser frame, again, very accurately modeled by Carson (Deadbolt)

If the cost is close to a MGC how much interest would there be?

Re: ANH Hero DL-44 Discussion

A CNC´d C96, made to specs of a life firing one but at the cost of a MGC, hell I´m in (if this really could be done :) !!!

Best thing would be to post an interest thread over at the JY to get an idea about the number of kits for a possible run.

I´d be in for a full kit, plus a few spare parts if they´ll become available :thumbsup

Start an interest thread in the junkyard to get a rough idea. Then start an official For Sale thread. But don't discuss interest and sales here, as it goes against board rules, as far as I remember. But you can post a link to the interest/sale threads.

Re: ANH Hero DL-44 Discussion

Interested in all CNC'd parts.

Don't know if this will help, but if anyone is interested I have a real C96 Broomhandle Mauser Barrel that I would love to have milled down and have a Bull Barrel added to.

Thanks
