Nice to see some new deleted scenes. I love that vintage stuff. Pity they didn't restore them though and the resolution isn't great.
Nothing new for this blaster but you can read the Graflex text off Luke's saber in the Wampa cave!

I would love to see a non special edition of the OT released on bluray. I don't care if it's been remastered to hell or not, just release one without all that junk added into it. I haven't seen original cuts of the OT since vhs!

Some good extras: deleted scenes in better quality than previously available, the deleted RotJ bunker scene, a nice (new) tour of the Archives, etc.
I don't know if they struck a new master or not, but the quality is the best I've seen to date.
The thing I'm disappointed about is that the discrete 6.1 mix doesn't seem to work on some Pioneer amps so I only get 5.1.

I have watched the first 3 episodes and last night I started watching A New Hope and they are all remastered, sound and video, quality like I have never seen on Star Wars!. When I get to Darth Vader throwing the Emperor over I may just mute it for a second! It said so much more without it than it ever will with it!

That woud be great!
I just tried again with an old DVD of ANH.
There are the shots where Han and co. hide in the hidden compartments of the MF. When he gets out he is holding the blaster and waves it around a bit. There are good angles showing the top and both sides where we may see something. The reg DVD is way too grainiy. (about 1hr 08min in)
Looking for the front sight area - top and side.
Maybe the mount from the side etc.
There are also the shots where Han blasts his way out of the dock. I posted some caps of that a while back but the res was too low to see anything but the fact that Solo is a terrible shot and closes his eyes and points at the ceiling when he fires!
Any screen caps you can get will be appreciated! You can PM or email me the best resolution pics you get besides posting, so I can try to enhance them and blow them up.
Looking forward to seeing what you can get.
Hope to be getting my set soon. Just don't have a way to screen cap from Blue Ray... yet.

We have also documented all the "proofs" for the details. They will be unbelievable!
Looking forward to making the first run. I hope we can get enough people interested in the parts set to keep the costs low. Spread the word.

We were planning to try to offer the grill in one piece for the DL-44 in Aluminum and offer the full round Merr Sonn tube/ grill as shown, in a black plastic of some sort.
Depending on the interest, we can also offer the Dl-44 grill in plastic,
Hopefully, the Tube grill Merr Sonn part will be inexpensive enough to buy a few and cut them up and assemble them as each user requires, either as an "assembled" Dl-44 grill or for a Merr Sonn replica or where ever that part was used.
Any thoughts?
