I went for a darker silver on the yamaha piece so it looked aged. With my next axe ill go more for the hero version, I think the silver is better. I think it will look better when weathered. I got a little impatient trying to get the wash right on the blade. Since you figured it out ill definitely try to match what you did on my next axe. Great job!

Hello everyone I keep meaning to post this, this run is closed. Im finishing up with remaining orders and I'm almost done. I apologize to those I've turned down due to not having enough time to continue beyond this run. Maybe sometime down the road I'll make these again. Im just unable to at the moment. To those that have recieved their blades or are waiting to receive them I thank you very much for your patience and understanding. Thanks to Rufus72 and Trooper_trent I put the final piece on my axe. A Screen accurate vader rod. Trooper_trent did the scaling and template which was sent to Rufus72 for the precision cutting. The rods turned out beautiful and extremely accurate. Here's the results.

Just got mine. Wow!!!!!!!!!!!! is not a big enough word. I really debated about spending so much when I could just cut a set out of three pieces of 1/4" ABS. Boy I am glad I went ahead. Worth every penny. This Vibro Ax is going to rock!!!!!

I hope it's okay if we show our work on your thread. I just finished making a Vader rod for and Vibro axe build. Thanks to Trent for the measurements. I can see now one of the grooves needs to be cleaned up and the part sanded as you can see from the machine marks, but I'm happy with it.

I did close this run, however I've had so many requests recently I've been looking into making these less time consuming. Im probably going to be making some more soon. Im just working out some kinks in the process to make it easier. I'll keep everyone posted. I will be making more.

Just to confirm pipe size. 5' long and 1" wide on the outside?

If you get aluminum pipe which you should be able to get at a hardware store, they're exactly 1 inch outside diameter. This diagram might help. Sorry for the drawing but these are the dimensions.
