Unlimited Run Aluminum vibro axe blade

i sized it using the text box on the side of the dryer.

maybe the connector is wrong?

I searched the earth for that connector it'll work. But you might be right. I do have two slightly smaller.

I'm fairly certain I have the actual kit part. I'll look for it.
It would be easy to get if tamiya would open. They've been closed due to the pandemic. The distributer here is closed. They won't open until things in California change and that's not happening soon.

I have the template I made but I don't have the actual yamaha piece. Just wanted to make sure the round base was scaled right. What diameter is the base you made?

the part you have on the pole where the lower rod part goes in is not circular, it's more of a lozenge shape, flatter top and bottom.
Are you talking about this?
This is how I have mine modeled so far. It's tapered and wider at the base.

I would sure take a bare yamaha piece if you're offering. I have one of your other ones and was just going to grind the base down since he's offering a metal base with the blade kit. But a raw cast would be even better.

yes, its defo not circular in my opinion.
Do you mean it tapers to a wider base? or do you mean looking at it straight on (top down) that it's not round but eliptical? the 2nd image in my collage shows from a top down view that it's pretty circular to me. Maybe I'm misunderstanding.

correct, looking top down, i don't think its circular and the one i did on my axe was done lozenge shape. i've lost the ref pictures i had but happy to be proved wrong.

interesting! I'll look back through my reference. This looks pretty round to me. I mean there's a slight angle to the photo but perspectively it looks circular to my eyes.

When I scale it to the rectangle on the supermax, which I mic'd at 11.35mm x 45.49mm
I scale that tube part at roughly 12.65mm x 59.75mm, which is pretty spot on to what I modeled.

Nice, I guess I could shape it with some filler to taper it.
