.Out of curiosity, would the AAV fit facing backwards? It looks like the shape of the bottom of the drop ship's hull matches fairly closely to the rear of the AAV. (Though tactically, I would think it would make more sense to face forwards, like you have it.)
Yes, Tom-san. That's another issue that I have to solve. The first idea didn't have the nose tilt mechanism. So, there was enough room to accept the nose of AAV. Now the room is occupied by a gearbox and actuator. There are two options that I supposed to take.
1. Put the bulge on both sides of the nose section to conceal the AAV's nose.
2. Just remove the nose tilt mechanisms and re-construct the new nose section.
I'm now thinking that the new design of the nose section will be the better option to take. That will be fun to build.
The early idea of adding a bulge.
I'm thinking that the new nose section will be the side by side seating cockpit.
Hey, this project is getting harder like the one of the MV-22 Osprey.
Well I have been out of touch lately and I seem to have missed a lot! Nice work on the AAV. Working suspension and everything! Awesome!
Tom Clancey got a visit from the FBI after he wrote The Hunt For Red October wanting to find out how he knew so much about American submarines. Be careful!
Hi, Ken-san!
Thanks for the kind comment! I'm so happy to know you like my work.
You have no idea how I loved the novels of Tom Clancy!
Ever since the days I read 'The Hunt for Red October' I was crazy about him.
I couldn't wait for his new novel every year.
Oh, I miss him so badly!
And the thing you advised me will never ever happens to me! You are kidding me!
Haha...... Hum... wait a minute, some guys in black just came out from the black Chevy Suburban and coming up to the front porch of my house. I think, I ah..... ... .....
