I just read that Grand Central Terminal in New York has an exhibition hall they rent out for $25,000 a day.......you think we could get it? :lol

BAH! That place is GHETTO! I am holding out the Ball Room and the 4 Seasons. I just heard back from the coordinator and they only want $63,000. :lol

Thanks Nathan. I understand that people need to scrape together the $20 but you all have had since November to save $20.

If I don't have everyone's payment by this Tuesday then I may have to pull the plug on this. I'm not going out of pocket $300.

I'll be there. How about a poll, which car do people want me to bring to this one?

1. Robotic Herbie replica w/ screen used bits and pieces (seen at 2010 and 2011 events).

2. Screen used "evil Herbie" Horace the Hate Bug from the 1997 Love Bug remake (not appeared at any RPF event yet)

3. BMW James Bond "Tomorrow Never Dies" replica with rocket launcher, back seat driver system via Playstation 2 and other spy gadgets. I also have a 'blind driver' suit for this car to make it look like nobody is driving and can do a quick demo in the parking lot. (seen at 2011 RPF event)

If anyone feels like sharing driving duties from Mission Viejo I could probably bring two cars.

So far from the Star Car Central-Famous TV and Motion Picture Cars group it looks like we'll have a JP jeep, a Smokey and the Bandit T/A, and a Robocop OCP police car. Maybe a couple of others too - time will tell.

If anyone feels like sharing driving duties from Mission Viejo I could probably bring two cars.

i live in Costa Mesa, and if it means getting at least one more beauty at the party, i'll gladly drive down to MV to help out.

If you are bringing 2 cars, i'd say bring 1 herbie and the bond car. Although there are 2 people in my party, so if you wanted, we could do all 3. personally, i'm super excited to see a large group of movie cars together for this.

AWESOME!! I'll bring some stage lighting too. Well I won't but if they have a lightboard I'll program something. (only not really)

Also! No promises but I'm hoping to bake a bunch of star wars cookies since for Xmas I got a bunch of Star wars cookie cutters that I want to use more and practice decorating. I would also love to provide a raffle item but unfortunately all of my items are just not really good raffle prizes since they are all costumes and rely on sizing and the like. I don't have many props other then a Sam Tron disc lol.

Might not be able to stay the whole time as I work early Mon morning.
