i really enjoyed it!
the turkey wraps were tasty.. the pizza.. not so much.
i'd be willing to drop extra on better food next year if that's a consideration.
i met a lot of great people, and even talked about a couple of future collaborations with people that i cannot wait to pursue!
i lucked out and won the replica Luke belt from ANH, i'd have easily put it on the top of my "what i'd love to win" list if i actually thought i would have won anyway (i have terrible raffle luck)
so i immediately wanted to share the luck and added the Cuthulu sculpt cast i made to the raffle, so glad ShadoControl won it, and appreciates the source material!
my only big disappointment?
these are once a year?

Whoohoo! That was indeed another great event! After weeks of complaining to Brad, I must confess the Masonic Lodge actually turned out to be a really great location. Lots of light, tons of parking, plenty of space for all the folks and for their stuff to display.
I am always terrified to list out a bunch of names of folks I met, primarily in fear of leaving someone out. Which I always do.
So I will simply say that it was really fantastic to see everyone again, to meet the new folks ,and to pal around with old friends. Great stuff on display, and also really fun to see an RPF party get some media coverage! I think that too will be a forum first, and I look forward to seeing what Crave Online comes up with.
Oh, and has anyone pointed out that Inspector SpaceTime showed up??? That I did NOT expect!

It was quite a prodigious turnout today with plenty of stellar displays and company.
My sincere thanks to Brad for doing such a phenomenal job organizing this event and obtaining a spacious venue that accommodated all the wily shenanigans and mingling inside.
Also my kindest regards go out to all the folks that came out today and made this soiree a monumental success, being able to see so many old friends was truly a delight and having the opportunity to meet and make quite a few new ones today was an absolute privilege.

This is probably a stupid question (I don't hang out in props forums much) but are any of those cars the actual ones used in filming, or are they replicas?

The prop party group was all replicas, but we have some screen used cars in the Star Car Central-Famous TV and Motion Picture Cars group including one in my garage.
Those cupcakes were incredible.
Inspector Spacetime (Travis) had a blast meeting everyone and the two of us can't wait to drop some major bombshells exclusively at the RPF coming soon in a week or so...

Is there anything to the Magnum P.I. car or is it just that model of Ferrari? I once sat in the real thing. Growing up in Hawaii (mostly) my dad was the commandant at the Air Assault School, and they used that area for some of the Vietnam flashback scenes. Don't know why the Ferrari was up there. It wasn't driven up there, though. It was on a flatbed trailer.

The cars for the show were not modified, but with the 308 there were many minor nuances and model changes. Strictly speaking, the car at our party was not totally screen accurate.

I wanted to say thank you to the folks you organized and hosted the event, it was a great time. Also to the folks who donated door prizes! there were some great and unique items.

Just wanted to say thanks to Jedifyfe (Brad) for putting together an awesome event (again sorry we got there so late). I'll make a point to get there super early next time. It was wonderful meeting many of you as well

Thanks for making the trek down. It was too bad you guys ended up getting there late, it would have been fun to get to know you better.
