Re: 2012 So Cal Prop Party **TOMORROW**
I haven't been active on the RPF for years, and I think my last Socal Prop Party experience was in 2003 or 2004. It has been a REALLY long hiatus for me, but I am looking forward to coming. I live in LA these days, so I have no excuse to miss it.
Does a screen used person count as a prop? I decided to tell a friend of mine about the party and she wanted to attend. She's an entertainment celebrity - mostly overseas so far, but will be hitting the states soon. I got her hooked on props and costumes over the past couple of years, but she already comes from a massive geek background.
She worked in a comic book store in NYC, as well as recited every line of non-english Leeloo dialogue to me, with perfect accuracy. I thought it was interesting to find out she's also a huge fan of Star Wars, Trek, Final Fantasy, Ninja Turtles, video games, martial arts, etc ect. It just made sense to me to introduce her to like minded individuals, and the RPF tends to bring together some of the most talented, enthusiastic, and friendly people that I have had the pleasure of meeting.
Her initiation to the prop and costume replica world involved her wearing a replica Han Solo belt in front of an audience of 25,000 during her performance at a recent MTV concert in Beirut Lebanon - shown here -
I'm ready. Must... finish... album! | Facebook
Her name is Emii. If you're curious, here's one of her videos.

Here are a couple photos of her, so if you see her, don't be afraid to say hi
I see only a few familiar names in the attendee list for the party, so I am looking forward to meeting new people, seeing some old friends, and introducing Emii to the hobby. See you there!
