It kinda looks more like the 500 EL housing because of the deeper body with an SWC rear half without the viewport on top. However the side levers look sleeker in the on-screen version and the proportions all look a bit off so wonder if that was a different brand to Hasselblad made for 8mm movie cameras at the time rather than the SLR.
I found those on Amazon. I bought a few different diameters.
The .5 inch ended up being the ones im using.

Have you developed a pattern for the helmet interior padding?
Soft goods are not in my wheelhouse, so I'll have to outsource all mine. Pattern making is also something I know nothing about. I assume it starts with laying paper in the helmet and drawing rough lines then go from there?
I have no clue whether the liner was leather or leatherette (see below).

Not yet, but seeing the auction images, this is an area I may deviate from the original. one of these images shows something I'm thinking of changing. I'm not a fan of the gromets that land on the seams and I will place those seams between instead of through. I also have the intent to integrate the fan's in a way that looks "designed" as part of the suit ergonomics.
As to the pattern itself...I was thinking of trying to use my 3d model, to extract the inner surface and see what results I get from running that through Pepakura Designer. if not I was going to line the interior with aluminium foil and masking tape, then cut that up into reasonable shapes.
Once I get my pattern, I was thinking of using my laser cutter to cut the panels out of EVA foam, and coating with Plastidip, to make it more of an industrial rubber lining instead of leather. I won't try to hide the seams in the foam, but round over edges to retain the seam look.
Just pined together, not final fit up.. Still needs a bit of spot putty and wet sanding, but hopefully will be on final paint by the weekend...the blue tape is where the ring in the foreground/side will be, just didnt want to remove tape yet.
