I took those final shots in a darkened bedroom, with only two tiny LED flashlights for "illumination", and VERY LONG exposures. I used GIMP software to add the "stars".

Man, awesome work. The lighting in the final shots really brings it to life.
Also the idea of framing it and hanging it to the wall is pretty genius, presentaion and space wise.
Furthermore, the ground texture looks so neat.
