I've got that shirt, and the deal has been extended ALL the time, so don't worry it shouldn't be the LAST moment to get it. It's too shiny when compared to the real shirt though, but it certainly is a cheap option.

Sorry to bump, but looking back through the pages, i noticed something with "red3" (Name and picture courtsey of Columbo's excellent post on page 5).
It looks like the top of the bow-tie is cut, rather than the more usual method of folding or sowing it down. The rough cut of at the top of the bow-tie is quite clearly visible. Just thought i should point it out.

I've just finished revising the last of the Matt Smith shirt patterns in my Spoonflower store. The colors are now more accurate and all of the print resolutions have been doubled. I'm excited to see what their new printers are capable of. I have received their new color chart and unfortunately the saturation is still a bit lacking, but the wider variety of colors, lack of color shift, and higher resolution should all still result in better prints regardless.

It'll just be a couple more days before it's available, but if you can wait a couple more weeks I can post pictures of the swatch I receive and make any necessary tweaks to the design.
Also I should note, the cuffs for the blue PS shirt are temporarily unavailable. For some reason ever since the beginning, that listing has been corrupt or something and it won't allow me to properly edit the design, so I finally just deleted it and created a new one. It'll be available in a couple days as well.

Urgh all you lucky/hard working people. How's the shiniesness of the fabric? And would it be possible to dye it to a slightly darker shade of brown, or would the other colors become too dark aswell?

It has a bit of a sheen. It is a silk twill. I can try to dye it, it shouldn't effect the printed parts, but it may. However, it's hard to tell if it really needs to be darker. It'll take some playing with.
It is for the new purple frock coat look as HVB posted.

For anybody who's interested, I just stumbled onto a really good match for the G-Star waxed denim fabric in Michael Levine's in LA for $5 a yard. It's got some stretch to it and I'm not sure if it's actually waxed, but it has a waxy sort of feel to it and it's a nice dark black with a sheen. I can't seem to find any close-ups, if somebody can post a good shot of the fabric I can tell how accurate it is. Plus I'll take a picture of this stuff tomorrow or the next day when I find time.
I've been wanting a pair of the G-Stars for a while now, they're just weird enough to be cool, just normal enough to cover up if need be. Between this fabric, my bow tie run, and my Spoonflower fabric, it looks like I may put together a S6 Doctor yet.
Oh, and speaking of Spoonflower, apparently their swatch sale rejiggered their listing policy, so I might have to wait until they actually print my swatches (hopefully not long now) before I make the fabrics available. If it still doesn't work once they ship I'll send them an email and get it straightened out. I would still recommend you wait until I have a chance to look at the swatches before ordering, though.

So I know it's series 7, but I figured the bow tie discussion was the most appropriate place to share. I'm still looking for an accurate S6 tie, but my S7 isn't looking too bad. The pattern is a bit larger, but the colors are very close. All in all, not bad.
I would like some input. I think the tie itself needs to be slightly narrower. Possibly straight cut (the one pictured is a bow cut). See bottom pic for comparison.
I've still got a lot of fabric left over, and just ordered a gross of adjustment sliders, so if anyone is interested in one, it's a definite possibility.

BBC-A does not broadcast in HD, so I can't say for sure, but it looks like Smith has a new shirt for AOTD. Looking closely, it appears to be a check shirt, but not the one previously used.

Hmm, difficult to see. Possibly, although i wouldn't be sure of it. It does seem a tiny bit less yellow. But then again, all the colors are quite dull in the snow scene. For now, i would say it's the same shirt.
Eh, still looks different to my eyes.

Hmm, it could be a different shirt. It does looks sligtly more cream, whereas the previous one seemed more yellow.
Also, does the elbow patches seem different this year? Or am i being too pedantic?

Elbow patches look the same. I don't believe BBC made any "new" tweeds for this season.
