1:1 Scale Jurassic Park Tyrannosaurus Rex Bust Completed!

1 word... INCREDIBLE! This is amazing! Are you gonna look at painting it up? If so, if/ how will you look at making the layer lines disappear?

So I sculpted and printed new eyes, filled, sanded, and then poured clear resin on top for a beautiful shine. Once I insert them, I'll finally start working on the seam filling and sculpting. Still a long ways to go.

Sorry about the double post, question for the Jp Fans out there, should I introduce black at all or just keep going for darker layers of brown?

As a reptile, and specifically Lizard like, I would say black wasn't extremely common in modern lizards that are mostly brown based, but not unheard of either. You can take a picture of you T-Rex and play in Photoshop to try some colors as accents and see what works. Black could still be very striking if done right.

Awesome !

I almost want to say that the inside mouth area needs some attention....it's too consistently pink.
But, I don't have better advice than that.

Question about resin polishing.....So I went and made resin Eyeballs using a circular silicon ice mold I had. It picked up the texture of the ice mold since it didnt have a shine. How do I go about buffing the shine back in? Dremel with a polishing attachment? Buff with something like FLitz and a microfiber cloth? Pour another layer of resin on top of the piece? Wet sanding isn't really an option for me.
