ZF1 with Functional Airsoft, Rocket & articulation

Super nice! i love it!

Nice work.

Dont suppose you'd like to share how you did the mechanics? The magnets and levers?

Hope to do this with mine, once i eventually start it so any tips would be very helpful

*Twitch* Oh wow, I have no idea how to explain the mechanics of this project - every component is different and unique in it's operation. Magnets were used because of their ability to contact a screw that could be adjusted (as the project progressed, the gap tolerances changed with the frame settling in from the added stress of components).

Tip of the day: To minimize warpage of hatch covers when using a fiberglass shell, reinforce the panels BEFORE you cut them out from the body.

Thanks!

Catches, magnets, and releases, shouldnt be too complicated i dont think.

What would be harder would be to get them to release in order one after the other by pressing only one switch....and then another switch to close it all!

SuperKrate - is your Mark III kit compatible with the modifications to the ZF1 you've made here?

Yes, the Mark III kit can be augmented to replicate the functions found here. Much of the design of the kit was developed during this build.
