Y-Wing Parts Map for the "Green Leader" Project - open source

Re: Y-Wing Parts Map for the "Green Leader" Project

I believe it's from the Nitto Jagdpanther.I think it also has a part from the kit on the bottom hull?

The part center of picture.Looks like a part is cut off of that part to the right.

Here's the tool part I have from the fujimi panther. And the other part, the "looks like Dr. Evil's spaceship" part, is from the hurricane. The part goes on the right upper rear of the fuselage.

Anyone Know if the fujimi & nitto are the same tooling. The nitto parts look spot on.

Re: Y-Wing Parts Map for the "Green Leader" Project

May help anyone better recognize a part for this assembly. I believe I correctly labelled the Yamato pieces based on a previous thread by Julien. If they are not the Yamato pieces please let me know and I'll fix as soon as possible.

I can be sure because I have Nichimo kit in hand.

Comparing those parts coloured cyan to the kit scans over at SSModelers, I'm not seeing them......
Are you sure it's 1/500 scale?

Re: Y-Wing Parts Map for the "Green Leader" Project

I added to this what I'm pretty sure is the exhaust pipes from the Airfix Handley Page.

The number of (exhaust) pipes and the angle of the collector pipe threw me off with this earlier. But now that I look at it really closely, with that recently released assembly reference photo, it looks like the first pipe has been trimmed off and the collector pipe is simply bent 90°. There is a thicker bit on the pipe just before the bend and it matches the Handley part. I'm pretty confident it's correct.

The tan bent pipe part in Jasons picture is from Nichimo Jagdtiger.

Cool Julien.I new the one part was from the Hummel, but not the view port.I found a mostly built Hummel with all the SS parts glued up already(should be able to take apart),but for a $125.00 I couldn't pass it up.

I have no clue what scale actually. I was basing my kit association on this post by Julien in his previous build thread: http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=133044&page=2&p=2053328&viewfull=1#post2053328

Maybe his guess was off as he doesn't reference the kit name again later when he receives these parts to build it. Or maybe it's the larger Yamato from Nichimo? Those are both very hard kits to find images of online.

Here is this updated map as well.

Are the boxes from the struts in both the Ausf. N and Ausf M/N? I can't find a good scan of the M/N so I'm not sure of any differences or misunderstanding I had when I originally labelled the strut box.

The boxes on the struts maybe incorrect (not sure if I gave you that ID), in my N kit they're a little off in size and detail.

Re: Y-Wing Parts Map for the "Green Leader" Project

I tried to look at this image from the Falcon thread (and similar images to see the strut assembly, but the boxes are the only thing NOT placed with a number for some reason...

I just think the pieces are from the M/N kit, NOT the N. I felt the detail was off in the beginning but had no scans of another kit to correct or consider with. The Panzer III is mentioned on this image list but doesn't specify which one.

Re: Y-Wing Parts Map for the "Green Leader" Project

Anybody know what the yellow piece is that sits on the Kettenkrad part in the falcon picture Big Dog posted?
