C'mon now...complete nonsense.
There is no established track record of anything except delivering quality product. You don't really consider a couple threads on RS or the RPF a track record do you?
The boards represent the minority when it comes to overall sales.
Sure, delays happen. Don't like it, don't order; I suspect the company will do just fine considering they tend to sell out everything they offer.
Something's working!
I believe Tony's point is, while there may be a few people with legitimate gripes (that's normal) the people you tend to see pop up in these threads don't do business with, nor would they ever order from Efx in the first place. They have no first hand exp. of anything to do with the company.
As for all this other dribble about build blogs, etc. This suggestion is just a testimonial to how little people really understand what it takes to land a large run. I mean, nothing that could be written would ever tell you what you wanted to hear, anyway which is, your **** shipped yesterday and they're knocking off 10% because you didn't get a return e-mail in 1 hour.
I mean you know the product is being worked on. Would you really want to read:
Spoke with Anton in Asia for 9 hours. We ran numbers until our eyes were bleeding. Vendors haven't sent any samples after promising them for weeks.
Working on the tooling for 2 weeks; still not where I want it; back to the drawing board.
Still waiting on samples....
Still waiting on samples....
Like I said, don't like the way the company rolls, vote with your wallet and chase the item on the secondary market for twice the cash.
This threads author had an agenda which is what bugs me. He wasn't soliciting an opinion in an effort to have his changed. He was attempting to change that of others when he asked the question,: "Would you pre-order from eFX?" It was a transparent, punk move. Sadly, these threads just make for silly pile-ons from those who never intended to order a thing anyway.
Yeah, GRRRR; I was gonna order all their ****, too! Okay, pal...sure ya were.

And you sir can be called a "usual suspect" of those staunch supporters of EFX that will defend and fight their fight for them.
You don't really see any major problem here, do you?
If there are no problems with EFX, then why are you defending them? Why do they NEED defending?
Have you also noticed that every time one of these threads pop up (and there have been a few) that more and more "usual suspects" are showing up to "***** and moan"? And your comment about "they don't even have an order with them"! Are you serious??? Why would they WANT to place an order with them with their lousy track record of 'customer service'? They don't respect their EXISTING customers enough to respond to their e-mails!
