Saw the movie tonight. Sadly, it was a very disappointing experience to say the least. Hugh Jackman brought his A game and poured everything he had into that role, only for it to be let down by poorly scripted drivel that was The Wolverine. Don't get me started on CGI grizzlies.

hey guys im putting together a wolverine black suit does he wear cufflinks with the suit? if anyone knows or even better has a picture it would be great:)

I liked "The Wolverine" Also I am a comic book collector and am familiar with the comic story line. The movie is 100 times better then Origins. Stay through some of the credit to see the set up for Day of the future past. I wish I could talk more on this movie but I would spoil event for those who have not seen it yet. I came out of the movie with an even more pumped up interest in the character and wished I had my claws on me. Go see it and make up your own mind. I've seen a few negative reviews ?!?1 can't understand it myself?? I'll recommend this to all fans of Wolvy.

" I didn't like what he had to say.. How did you know there was a pool down there? ..... I didn't"

I loved The Wolverine, it was a lot like the comic it was based on even down to the bear and the bar scene in the beginning. The only thing that I didn't like at all was one part at the final fight scene, I don't what to give it away, but it just seemed like a dumb plot point considering what was explained in the previous films. It was a great movie and I was surprised how well the fighting scenes were. All and all probably my favorite X-Men movie right behind X2. X2 will probably never be beaten in my mind I like how it explored Wolverine's origin and I liked him fighting Deathstrike. I didn't like how the friendship between Nightcrawler and Wolverine was never touched on since it was in the comics, but that's a small thing.

Darkside - how do you know this??

I had to study the claws a lot in order to make them and I know them well enough to recognize them when I see them. I downloaded the hi-res video from the link and slowmo'd through the part where he holds the claws up and I can tell you for sure that he is holding the new style claws.

It is still a guess that those are the claws that will be in Days of Future Past but since he claims to have been working on the set, it is a reasonable assumption. Only time will tell for sure.

I have to agree that the claws look like the new style, but considering the events of The Wolverine, I'm wondering how they look that way.

These buckles are looking great, the quality has really stepped up from earlier replicas. A couple of points... I've been doing these so long, I'm not sure what my original reference is, but I always thought the headband was green. Also, there is a "V" or "U" design on the tips of the feathers that you can see in many of the original photos. Here is a not-so-great shot of my personal buckle where you can, at least, see this detail:

DevilsTrap, I definitely like the dirtied feathers better, excellent natural looking patina!

Kind regards,

I can tell you those are not the claws he will be using for Day of the future past. To find out for yourself you have to see the movie The Wolverine, and five minutes or less into the credits is the plug for DOTFP and after seeing that you will know for sure. GO SEE THE WOLVERINE!!!! It was awesome.

Bryan Singer has said that going back in time will affect the current timeline in the X-Men movie universe. I wonder if the events of The Wolverine will be changed some what. I don't what to give anything anyway, but I'm wondering if something will be changed back. Also, we have no idea if the past Wolverine is Pre-Weapon-X or post. We do know that future Wolverine's mind will be put into the body of the past or "younger" Wolverine. I have just thought about this since seeing The Wolverine last Thursday.

We all should know what happened to his claws in that movie...That said, these are the claws he's using, I guarantee you Magneto will put his claws back to normal.
