Wolverine all day baby! Jackets, belts, claws, oh my.

Unfortunately the movie jacket has the curved cuffs.
I like the fact that they are trying to be as screen accurate as possible. I am sure they could alter the cuff if you asked them to though.
Actually, I don't think they can make any changes at all. I have been contacting Wade at WolverineJacket.com back and forth quite a bit, and he has been extremely great at getting back to me and answering all questions and everything. He was hoping that the manufacturer would be able to make some custom changes, but now they are telling him they won't. I was hoping to get the back bottom of the jacket more screen accurate, but now they are telling him that they can't do it unless he has a great many orders that are all requesting the same change...
Oh bummer, I wanted to make that same change when I was ready to order my jacket but I would leave the sleeves just the way they are. He hadn't mentioned that to me... but I haven't been in touch recently. I don't like these new developments. Did he say how many orders he would have to get?
He didn't say a specific number, just that it would have to be "bulk order" of jackets, with payment in advance, which is very hard for him to do with custom orders. He sounds very frustrated, and it sounds like his manufacturer has mislead him in this regard, in what he has told me.
As a result, it sounds like he would like to look for a new supplier. However, this is not something that will happen anytime soon it sounds like...
With the price of Dan's jackets (they are awesome, but I just can't justify spending that much...), and with the complete lack of response I have had from many emails to Heron, I just might wait this out with him and hope for the best...

I spoke with Wade from wolverinejacket and he said a minimum of at least 10 orders in advance to change the design of the waistband to have a rounded bottom.

Well. My jacket doesn't have the dip. Besides that it's as close as it gets to screen accurate. The thing is so mint, I wear it everywhere, work, college, out with friends, I'm actually a little pissed when I can't wear it out. Things like heavy rain or 10 degrees I have to wear a different jacket. I've had plenty of complements on the jacket. At school I get a lot of looks but they seem to busy to say something. The think makes me feel so manly and badass, I can't say enough about how much I like my jacket. I even have a pic of me wearing it in my work cloths standing in an urgent care with a messed up right hand. I wish I had a healing factor, but sadly it will take a week for my hand to heal. Thankfully my hand is not broken.
Maybe we should start a list to see if we can get 10 people that want the screen accurate jacket. I mean I am still saving up a bit but by the time we get 10 people I should have enough.

I also heard from Wade last night, and he mentioned the 10 orders (paid up front) to get the change in. I am not in a huge hurry either, so if it takes a little while that's ok I guess.
Aside from the back bottom of the jacket, I am very impressed with how many of the little things they have gotten accurate on their jacket! I would change the top of the accent color's trim line, lowering it a bit, making a smoother transition from the side to the top, and having it a constant curve at the top instead of the flat spot, and adding the dip to the bottom. I tried to illustrate that in the attached image, comparing the picture of Solider in his jacket to a Logan's Closet jacket.
I also think the accent color should be a little more brownish in hue, a little less orange... Logan's Closet uses the leather color of "amber tan".
Other than those two things, this jacket looks incredibly accurate to me. Solider has nothing but positive things to say about his coat, which is great to hear also.

Yeah, I think you are right about the shape there. I think the color of the accent pieces is ok... you can weather it to make it look a little duller and more brown in color.

That's definitely the look I was going for. I doubt the future cast will have on suits, just a shredded shell of their old ones. I hope Jackman doesn't die in this one.

So, I wore the Wolverine Raiders for three weeks and multiple days working on concrete. My feet were killing me both days. Today I wore normal boating shoes and my feet were fine.
I'm not sure if it's the boots or just me. I've owned wolverine's before and they killed my feet. I was hoping it was just those boots but maybe it's wolverines in general for my feet.
I'm not sure what the break in time is for a pair of these but it kinda sucks as there's no way I can return them now. Oh well. Maybe it's just a temporary thing.

Not that I know of.... I've sent about 5 emails to Jorge at Heron over the last 2-3 months, and heard absolutely nothing back at all. A couple weeks ago I sent an email to the general Heron address asking how to better reach him for a custom order. They replied a few days or so later and asked what I was looking for, I forwarded them all the emails I sent Jorge. That was almost two weeks ago, never heard back at all....
I'm surprised of their complete lack of response this entire time. I have read on here how they have excellent customer service, but I just haven't seen it at all...
Very disappointed.
Wade at WolverineJackets.com on the other hand has been amazing at responding to my many, many numerous emails and questions. Can't say enough about his customer service.
We are trying to get together 10 people to order the Origins jacket from them with the more screen accurate bottom of the back. So far it looks like we have three people, if you are interested at all!
