TDKR Bane Cosplay WIP

I’ve been cosplaying for a while and it all started with Bane. Since my 14 year old daughter wanted to go to a Con with me as Joker, I thought it would be a great opportunity to go with my second (and final) Bane costume. It’s almost complete, but here’s what I got so far. If you have any questions on how I made any of it, ask away! I’d love to help!

That’s a bummer! I’d go with ya! I’ll use any excuse to make a costume and go to a Con!

This is my first test fit of the entire costume. I’m pretty surprised how well I got it to fit and actually how comfortable it is!

Lol! I actually am! I walked around the house for a bit, quoting lines from the film in his voice. I’m such a nerd!

Here’s the completed boots. These aren’t the exact logger boots he wore in the film, but they’re pretty close. These aren’t closest I could get without having to pay too much money. The closest boots I could find that Bane wears in the film are Red Wing suede logger boots, but damn! I’m not paying over $200 for those. These are used C.E.Schmidt logger boots I got off of eBay for $30. They were practically brand new! I figured with some modifications, I could get them close enough.

Finally, these are the finished pants. I know in the film he wears Crye Precision Tactical gen 1 combat pants, but those are almost impossible to find these days. I bought a pair of Bane cosplay pants and had to do some really heavy modifications to make them more accurate.
