Wolf Predator suit build..Still a LONG way to go

Hi fellow hunters! It's that time of year to start a new suit!
I had the opportunity to get an open mouthed Wolf predator mask from Chuck. It's by far the one of most beautiful thing I've seen, but a slight problem occured during shipping. The mandibles were tucked in too long during the shipment (I think) and by the time it got to me it became semi closed mouthed. Here's a pic to show you how I got it..

I heated it up with my hot air gun and tried to flex it to shape again..but up until now, I only managed to make it slightly opened..like this:

Can anyone help me with this? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

That looks like a really fresh cast, if it's warped before it's had chance to fully cure you might be stuffed. Have you contacted the seller?

Thanks for the reply guys. I've emailed the seller, but he never replied. I never thought that this is warped after the cast so I took my time and I think it's a bit too late to ask for a refund. There's foam in the mandibles, yes. So I guess I'll try the coat hanger wire way. I'll give it a shot tonight

PAITAN!! whats up... its good to see a new project.

As far as the wire hanger i think that should help out for the most part.

Man id love to airbrush something like this! Cant wait to see how it turns out! Good luck man.

Hey fellas..I got caught up with office work these past weeks. The wire hanger worked...for 4 minutes. I guess the warp is permanent. the flesh between the mandibles are too thick i guess. I'd have to make do with that fact that it's going to be semi-open mouthed hunter then. Might not be such a bad idea. Yep Maniak, this is a bad ass sculpt! Manders really put his soul into this mask! I just hope I can finish my work by this weekend. My hands are itching to get started!! Maybe I should change the title as well..?

Ive so far got 3 failed casts and wasted 5 litres of latex and 2 litres of polyfoam. Not happy. In hindsight I wish I done a resin bust instead of a latex mask, I know what i'm doing with silicone.

I don't think I have the luxury to convert this to a half mask.. It's kinda hard to get a decent wolf mask in Malaysia..:(

Hullo fellow hunters...I stopped working on the mask for the time being..my airbrush compressor gave it's last breath away. Planning to get a new one by the end of this month. Anybody heard of Einhell before? Anyway, while waiting for the new compressor, I managed to model the pulse cannon. It's not accurate, I know. But I think it's good enough to be printed (I hope)...Here's the sketchup view...
