Yeah I've thought about it... maybe. If I do I'll send you a pm and let you know it's on it's way. Keep in mind that this is the first completed model I've created and am still learning, so it'll take time.

I know Fawbish is currently working on some files for 3D printing, but not too sure if he's planning a run or if the files are for personal use only. Either way, you should check in on his thread, he's doing some awesome work.

Thanks, honestly, it's not that I just decided one day to give it a shot and this is the result... I got Blender around Jan/Feb this year and have been playing around with it off and on. Modeled a butt ugly Iron Man helmet half way and one or two obscure models simply out of my head.

The real learning began when I started this thread, I wasnt expecting the response I got... but with guys like Fawbish, RevolverOcelot, Judge Spartan and of course Dark Jester giving input and advice and of course all the other guys that simply said " well done " or " keep at it ", I managed to get it half decent.

That's what I like about this forum... everyone has to start somewhere, and as long as you're willing to put the effort in, you'll receive fantastic support.

Ok thay was deep... lol.

Thanks for the compliment and you'll definitely be seeing more from me.

i noticed that area last night when i rebuilt the helmet (stupid clumsy dog) but when you fix it let me know so i can get the fixed copy as well,lol

Hey Bud... Will do. I went through the Blender file today, chopped it in half, added vertices, rejoined edges, reapplied the mirror modifier and still had the exact same result in pepakura. Even tried modifying the file using pep designer, no luck.

I'm heading out of town for a day or two, so wont be in front of the pc to carry on, will take it on again around Thursday.

I've received some pm's requesting the file. I still need to iron out the issue along the jaw. The problem really is small but I'd rather try get it 100%. I agree with Judge Spartan, I think even semi experienced builders will have no problem working around it, but a first time builder may just end looking for me with the intention of fitting that part in some uncomfortable part of my body.

However, should I not come right by Friday. I'll release the file for those who wish give it a go as is.

Ok, so I've tried everything I could think of and still no joy... I'm sure it's Friday somewhere already so the link for the file will be posted as soon as I'm home ( about 2 hours time ).

I'm not going to give up though, I'll keep trying till I've figured it out.
