WIP: 1/2 scale WALL•E

Cheers guys :$
Phil, watch it...it's a great little movie :)

I've finished the neck and mounted the head, which can move from left to right.

Apologies for the dark photos.

looks pretty cool, good detailing

Hi guys, Sorry for the lack of updates on this project...I've been working stupidly long days with a long commute and haven't touched WALL•E for what seems like an age.

The arms/hands are complete, painted and mounted. I don't have any photos of WALL•E in his current state at the moment, but here is a pic of the arms and hands before painting:

Those look perfect Neil!

I think you hit the nail on the head with the scale next to the Rubix Cube.
How well does it scale to a Spork and a Zippo Lighter?

I found a Sony Blu-Ray player for $90 at SAM's (It was the floor model) so I had to pick up the Blu-Ray version of WALL-E.
The amount of detail you see makes the DVD version look like VHS.

Keep up the good work.

Scot

Shweet! I look forward to seeing a completed Wall-E! He is def. on my list of things to make someday.

I'm currently on my honeymoon in Thailand....just grabbing 5 minutes to check the forums :)

I still haven't started the tracks. I'll post some pics I have somewhere of the arms attached when I'm back in the UK.

Congratulations!

I wish you and your new Bride all the best.
My wife and I have been married for 14 years and our Honeymoon still feels like it was only yesterday.
Time flies when you're having fun.

I can't wait to see the progress on your 1/2 scale WALL-E.

Safe Travels,

Scot
