I was really bord at work, and was thinking , that since MR is giving Star Wars up...will Sideshow then begin making prop replicas? because Sideshow and Star Wars are going strong, and they are producing more prop replicas lately.

I don't think they'd be able to automatically, they'd still need to be contracted to do it. Due to MR's contract, Sideshow's existing agreement with LFL would exclude props and studio scale models by definition.

I'm sure they'd be on the short list do get the rights to do so, though.

Im curious not only whom eventually picks up the license, but how long will it be before they are up and running producing and selling these items?
