Well everone else seems to have had email confirmation except for me so it looks like i messed up ordering my bison :-( what an idiot. Is there any way of checking if the order was processed?

Wow... seems to take a while and a lot of effort to tear this thing apart.
I just got an e-mail from Weta that the New Zealand Bisons won't be shipping until the 20th! Another two weeks down the tubes.
More time for planning, I guess!

Just had the same mail. This is beginning to look kind of tight on timing if the Aug 15th closing date is correct. Looks like we're at a bit of a disadvantage.

Okay, like many folks my plans changed a bit when my actual bison came in.
I took the "new and different" thought a poster had a couple pages back to heart.
If you read the original description of the Bison, it was made to be powerful, compact and easy to carry. So I thought, how could you upgun the hell out of it without needing to make it a 2 handed weapon?
Answer, gauntlet-mounted raygun with a mechanical pressure switch in the glove. Has some internal lights to make it pop when you use the switch.
So here she is prior to weathering and final detailing. The dings and rusty places and seams all need to be hit hard to make the whole thing cohesive. As is now she still looks pretty rough. I'm going to use my Righteous Heatgun as a test bunny for my rust and stuff first just to make sure I don't screw up the Wisent.
PS: Yes that peep sight is for a grenade launcher.:cool

Not getting mine until after the 20th booooo, oh well more time to finalise designs.

Oh holy bison, I freakin LOVE this!!!!
I left all the heat absorbing stuff intact and she's still fully functional. I get a stupidly large amount of fun using it now.:lol

And keep in mind, this was just me using spare parts, no filling seams with putty or sanding or any of that stuff. Just slapped together and used as a paint dummy. Now she's been rubbed down with some real rust powder and sealed up proper.
And here is the Wooly Wisent drying and on her new stand. Still needs washes and more work but she's getting there.
