are they being shipped by dark horse comics by any chance? cause i got a tracking number in my email from them and i dont know what it is. if that is them, then june 6th for me. i expect it would come from weta? also awesome pic. its allot bigger then i thought it would be!

Well, I manage to get the beast disassembled, but I'm sad to say that it wasn't quite as easy as Contec made it sound. I ended up with far more damage to the main chassis than I'd care to admit. My only advice: heat the glue evenly and liberally, and GO SLOW! As is the case with so many other projects, my impatience may have been my undoing.

BTW somebody just threw out a 55 inch Panasonic plasma by my place (looks like they dropped it and broke the screen moving in). Scratchparts HO!

The RPF picked up several extra Bison. Look next week for us to have a couple of contests in which naked Bison will be the prize! We will likely run one contest on Facebook and one contest here on the board. Hopefully this will give those of you who didn't manage to pick a Bison up the opportunity to get one.

Mine arrived today as well. I was blown away when I opened the outside shipping box... I did not expect to see the unpainted Bison in a full retail box! WOOT WOOT!
It's also larger than I expected... nice!
